Thanks for the link, and it shows precisely that his position is very considered, difficult, and nuanced, which is as it should be on a morass like the situation in the middle east.
Even if only half of those employees were working on the actual product and product-adjacent roles, it still seems hard to come up with 4500 jobs. In fact I think the number of employees might be what led to a bunch of their missteps over the past many years. Like the multiple interface redesigns that no one asked for and actively disliked.
Hah i appreciate the effort but i ain't watching a 22 minute video just to find out how efficient tank heaters are compared to tankless. It literally just needs to be a list of like 2 or 3 numbers
The comic is saying that the overlords purposely threw in some very wacky conditions in 2015 just to see how we'd respond, so the idea we're saying is that we'd like to go back to X year and go forward but without the wacky settings in the simulator.
It would be pretty easy to make a locking mechanism for a standard usb-c cable. Like for example a slot that's the size of a usb-c connector, and after you put the usb-c cable connector through it to plug it in, you then rotate the slot 90 degrees to lock the cable head in place.
But then you could just go back and witness the events that the book tries to describe, so the book itself becomes irrelevant outside of just archaeology phd work.
And if my friend was one of those people, how would you explain it to him?
EDIT
Oh, it's like a school kid warning his friend not to go to school tomorrow by posting a picture of a real gun, but in this case it's a picture of a video game gun warning not to go on zoom tomorrow because he's gonna shoot the gun zapper at people on the screen tomorrow.
And for funsies what's your bank account number too!?
