You’ll be back…

To your last point. If that were true then it follows that all governments are exactly as good (or as bad) as each other. You don't seriously believe that every single government on earth have equal merit though? Plenty of people have unjustified opinions of certain governments but that doesn't mean that every opinion is unjustified and there are no better/worse governments.
If I asked you which government was better, Sweden or North Korea, it's not exactly a stretch to say there is an objective answer. A governments job is to manage the nation for the people, and some countries do a far better job of that than others.
Climbing.
It became an instant obsession when I tried it 3 months ago and have been going 3 times a week for a couple hours ever since. Such an amazing sport and after 3 months has me stronger and fitter than at any point in my life (I'm in my mid 30s).
If you can do 2 hours of walking a day you're doing far better than most people.
Even an hour of walking would be better than most, if that's all you're capable of then you're capable of plenty! Keep it up!
Going back to my skater teen phase, "hands down" by Dashboard Confessional has a good one.
Nor would any competent force give an ultimatum of "stop or die" over a trivial crime. Most countries would get in their car and try to follow safely, if that wasn't possible you run the plates and send a summons. A hand should never be near a gun in this situation.
There's no defending this.
You didn't make it clear to the rest of us that it annoyed you! We'll make sure we all tailor our behaviour so you don't have to deal with the inconvenience of seeing a joke which you've deemed unacceptable.
Please accept our sincere apologies, we shall all strive to please you more in future :) x
Oh you should have said it bothered you, I'll chat to the other posters and we'll stop it.
Sorry sniper :( x
But they'll be similarly broad I'm sure.
I presume didn't actually read 20+ essays which were personal summaries of each colleague. But unless you spent a significant amount of time with a psychologist those papers weren't about anyone specifically, they were about lots of us.
Chances are the questions put you in a myers briggs type category and spat out the essay for that category (or a version of). Not to say there isn't a lot of stuff in there that applies to you, but it's not as unique as it seems when you first read it.
People also make them try to fit while reading, and not even just for our own essays. I typically do a version of it annually with work and I fill them all in randomly and end up in odd categories, without fail the whole room tells me that's exactly who I am and it's a brilliant summary, people put so much stock in MB that they force the results to fit their experience.
Having said that, I'm not an expert in personality tests either so what the fuck do I know :)
You've put a fair few words into people's mouths and then judged them for it here.
Could your own view be unfair? I see people from all sides coming to conclusions they aren't qualified to be confident in, and yet everyone seems to have 100% certainty in everything these days.
I see lots of right wing tits, I also see lots of left wing tits and centrist tits. Politicians are not experts in anything, their job requires them to try and become experts in everything and as a result they're experts in nothing but lots of people seem to take everything their preferred politician says as fact. Things are very rarely black and white but in the US that seems to have been entirely forgotten lately.
I know it won't go down well here but viewpoints like ACAB or "republicans are fundamentally bad people" are so reductive that it's almost funny.
When did people stop considering nuance?
Nearly climbed an indoor route graded 6c at my gym. 6c was my target when I started climbing in June and I gave myself a year as my aimed timescale, I worked out the crux of a 6c route on Sunday and am only one move off finishing now.
Way ahead of schedule! And for anyone who's never tried rock climbing I can't recommend it enough, it's a sport for people that love video games where every route is a level that needs beating and you learn new abilities to unlock those harder levels. Helps that's I'm stronger and fitter than I've ever been before even after just 3 months, it's one hell of a workout!
Have convictions about the shit you know about. But be prepared to change your mind on stuff you aren't an expert in.
I wonder how many people that strongly align to the left or right actually understand the detail behind the policies they defend so vociferously, 99% of people people are just parroting what their party tells them to say from what I can see.
Your opinion on climate change or whatever is the latest hot topic doesn't mean shit. Reading an article from your biased politically motivated "journal" doesn't mean shit. Listening to the actual experts and forming an opinion based on that DOES mean something, and it's got fucking nothing to do with politics.
America sounds fucking awful. Why does anyone have to pick a side? Why do you have to be labelled anything political? Can't you just vote every 4 years based on your opinion at the time of the available candidates. The idea that someone leaps to defend their party regardless of who leads it is kinda childish.
In the UK the majority of adults don't wear their political allegiance on their sleeves as seems to be the case in the US (from my blinkered view admittedly, that may be unfair). It's rude to ask how people voted and you're not expected to make it known, obviously extremes exist and plenty of people make it their identity, but it's not a huge polarising issue and I have friends and family from both "sides".
The incessant need for everyone to be defined and put in their own category is a really bad thing for society. It's not a surprise that the world seems to run on black and white viewpoints more than it used to appear to. If people saw me as an actual enemy because I tried to see more than their own angle on an issue then I don't want them as friends tbh.
You haven't even answered a single point I've made, just whatabouted every reply. Surely you at least see the irony of pointing out the irony of me telling you to think?
Do take care though, watch out for pointy things etc. :) x
I don't see that point anywhere mate. I do enjoy the irony in your last sentence though, you're so intelligent that you incorrectly accused a group of people of misgendering someone.
Anyway this clearly leads nowhere good, just try and have a think about it buddy :) x
What point do you think you're making mate...?
Are you actually gonna go with the idea that knowing information is a bad thing and we should all work off instinct and assumptions instead?
See any issue with that idea? Might it lead to ignorant comments like yours do you think?
You were banned from all of reddit for having the prevailing opinion when it comes to trans men? Doubt.
It still doesn't affect the idiocy of your original post. Maybe check before calling everyone bigots eh? They might just have information you don't. :) x
Did you scroll through r/all previously too though?
It's always been a hot mess to me, without my curated subs reddit isn't much better to me than Facebook or Twitter.
The trick is finding your preferred channels and just browsing those. I have a handful of channels I will happily browse for myself and a couple of channels for me and my wife to browse together.
Searching hasn't really been worth anything for quite a while. I'm more likely to find something I like by clicking a previous video that was enjoyed and scrolling through the related ones.

A few years ago I bought an 8TB hdd for storage to replace 3 1 or 2TB drives I had in there and get everything in one place (as well as clearing some airflow space in the pc).
Also a 500GB SSD for OS and games. But that's feeling a bit tight nowadays so I may upgrade
Yep, no arguments there!
