  • Yep, OpenAI especially wants to create regulation for everyone else except them (and now apparently other companies in this group). They made that clear in their "testimony" to congress. Rules for thee but not for me.

  • Mozilla does not exist because of Google. Google doesn't have controlling power over Mozilla, nor do they have power over the many forks. It's hilarious that you think a company would give a shit about being a monopoly; that's what they strive for. This stupid take has been going around for years, and I'm sad to see it spread to Lemmy.

  • You can get laser cutters for far cheaper than 7K.

  • This account posts replies directly from GPT. Check the post history - this one is a doozy!

  • I want to be a brain slug when I grow up.

  • This is the worst news I've received this month.

  • It sure does read that way..

  • A bunch of chuds with weapons piled into U-Haul is about American as it gets, lmao. Meal team six.

  • This isn't some motorcycle, these are human beings that have had their land, lives and culture stolen from them.

  • I also have this happen to me, yeah.

  • I had no idea about bash.org until this post. I wouldn't have known to go to bash.org without seeing this "repost".

  • I sure hope there isn't a rm -rf floating around in there somewhere.. kind of like a certain past incident with major gaming client.

  • From what I recall, the benefit of Mozilla's VPN compared to Mullvad is the integration with containter tabs, allowing a different server per tab.
