For years I made fun of the banjo and bought every string instrument I could get my hands on besides it. Then I randomly decided to get one in 2023 and boy do I feel silly. It quickly became one of my favorite instruments and now I wish I would have gotten one years ago.
Buy a used car maybe? I've never bought a new car as they're pretty out-of-reach cost wise and I say this as someone who works in automotive development.
