  • Confectioners sugar! Ah yes! I just use the sifty thing in the drawer. The one with the handle that you turn. Makes those Saturday morning strawberry crepes super fancy like. πŸ’œ

  • P. S. There is a bug with the filters where you can add an empty filter accidently and it filters every post. Besides that, is working spot on!

  • I've had the same problem and mentioned as much. I'm thinking there's no way to search posts yet.

I've been switching between Jerboa and Connect for this reason.

  • if they can't connect for a bit, that's fine, they can work on the local files and sync up next time I'm back on the home network.

I suppose this is what I'm most concerned about. I currently use a similar situation for my password manager database. We have Windows and Android clients that connect to a shared database file and I feel like I'm constantly having to manually synchronize the file because it remains open so long on each client. I'd like to avoid this situation.

Joplin can sync using files on the device filesystem

This weekend, I'm going to attempt to get it running on my NAS and do this.

I may also try the other syncing via cloud at the same time just to test.

  • Your experience is what i am looking to accomplish. I'd like to transfer everything Evernote to a self-hosted FOSS application I can serve on my Synology NAS. I would access my notes primarily on my phone (Android) and sometimes Windows. AFIAK, Joplin would sync to my Synology NAS where it's hosted... so I'm a little perturbed by the additional used of Syncthing.

Would someone explain the need/desire for Joplin+Syncthing?

  • Better for her if what her lawyers are seeking comes to pass.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 8, according to Dunedin District Court. While the maximum jail sentence is 10 years, Penwarden said her lawyers are asking for β€œdischarge without conviction.”

I'm so frustrated by the powers who put persons like her in prison while genuine and true corruption is permitted to continue unabated.

  • I don't normal watch YouTube (especially for this long) and I especially don't watch people play games, but... Ive been wondering why I don't hear about String Theory any more... and I've owned Binding of Isaac and have yet to play it. So I thought, why not!?

I was actually surprised by how interesting I found this. Dr Collier communicated some things I've been curious about while also teaching me several new things. The game added a fun element, but I'm afraid it's probably going to remain dormant on Steam for a long while longer now. 😁

    Anyway, thanks for the share.
