Second, that isn't how everyone feels. That is how you feel. People do in fact find it utterly hypocritical to see one thing one way and not the other and then claim to have knowledge above anyone else.
Third, aliens are more likely than gods. Mathematically speaking.
When she graduated from nursing school. She had a kid. Was a waitress and worked an office job to afford nursing school. Her friends talked shit about her math skills. She wasn't always strong at math. But she's been a nurse for 5 years now and does really well with her family.
What made them rich is not paying attention to social clues. They were unable to read the room. But they were allowed to decimate it and alienate anyone with valuable feedback. They isolated themselves and never thought "maybe I drove them away".
Gamers tend to think of things as quests. A box to check off. A completionist. Getting married and having kids is part of life's quests for many people. It's not seen as collaboration in many ways.
