  • Film crew were humans, no eat clause, but tempted on occasion. They were dead as dead can be, rotting bodies and all. We hadn't really talked about how they would deal with their rotting flesh, but I'd say there would be routine flesh and limb replacement. Maybe some kind of "exotic" living person fluid that can keep their skin from completely disintegrating.

  • The zombies are fully capable of talking and act just like the living do. The only difference is that they still need to eat brains and they are technically dead. We even considered making the zombies act high class and snobby even. Pinky out while eating brains etc., while they look down on the uncultured swine of the living.

It's funny you mentioned this because in our opening episode, we had the zombies start by mumbling and shuffling around. Then they had their living neighbor come in frame and ask them what the film crew was doing. They cut the act and say something like, "Damn it Kyle, we were doing our zombie shtick".

  • Me and some friends wrote an outline for a zombie movie years ago from the viewpoint of the zombies. They see themselves as cultured and "normal" while the living are viewed as savages who waste their lives working, keeping up with the Jones' and addicted to stupid stuff like reality TV. It would have been done in the style of The Office/What We Do In the Shadows, with a film crew following around a small group of Zombies who explain their lives. The zombies would have a very close-knit socialist/utopia type lifestyle while us stupid living lived in a right-wing 'murica hellscape.

My other idea around the same time actually made it into a TV series years after I wrote out an outline, too. I wanted to do an Office Space/Waiting style show but set in the big box retail world. About 10 years later, Superstore came out.

  • Kidney stone by far.

In the ER, 2 doses of Morphine had exactly 0% relief. I got Ketamine next and finally got relief.

I did get gout once. I can only describe it as walking on shards of glass while on fire. It was a tolerable pain while not walking, but it was excruciating while on my feet.

  • I've been in sales/management/marketing etc. Very people centric positions, and I've excelled at them. I am repeatedly told I'm outgoing, likeable, easy to get along with, but I can't stand people. Like several have posted, I have a social battery, and as soon as that runs out, it's game over.

I luckily have found my last few positions that give me plenty of downtime between clients/people, but I am still drained at the end of the day. It's very surprising to anyone I work with when I tell them I'm very introverted and prefer being at home vs. going out most of the time.

  • This isn't a problem at all. The problem is that builders are still giving 4.5% interest rates and incentives to build new. Existing homes on the market can't compete.

I built in a brand new community a few years ago. The community is full of homes needing to sell, including mine, but we can't. The new builds are being sold left and right due to those incentives. My home was on the market since November. I only had 4 showings in that time. I took almost 60k off my original asking price, which was already well under my purchase price. I've had to make a deal with the mortgage company just to get out of the property. Properties foreclosing all of the area while new ones are built constantly. This is in Texas.

  • If you want an ice maker do NOT get an in door model. Those will freeze up and break non-stop. Get a top fridge/bottom freezer with ice maker in the freezer. There is less of a thaw freeze cycle in the integrated cube maker vs the in door version. That's what breaks in door ice makers.

  • My understanding was that the xbox rog will actually play native Xbox installs. At least that's what I think the new "Xbox os" is capable of that will be on it, and eventually other devices.

  • I totally get what you're saying, but using steam numbers to judge how active an Xbox game is not fair. Steam isn't the native player base. It's far more active on console and still draws solid numbers.
I do agree with the grind being a bit much on the latest, though.
