  • The "Old good, new bad" line of thinking that has plagued motorsport fans, I think is a big reason why it is so well loved.

    I've driven it in multiple sims. And while it's alright for time trails, an actual race is pretty dull.

    It's definitely a track carried by reputation and nostalgia.

  • Sainz has got himself into an awkward situation.

    His options are either RB and Mercedes. Seats that are dependent on what happens with other drivers. Decisions about which won't be made for awhile yet.

    Or Audi which isn't a top team, but seems to be the only one giving a long term deal. But that deal is only there till the end of the month.

    Honestly feels like Sainz is playing a game of chicken against himself here.

  • Studio founder Shinji Mikame left a year ago, not too long after HI-FI came out. So that's a big personality gone.

    This decision wouldn't have been made on what's already been developed, but what's currently being worked on. So any thing that was currently being worked on would have been the cause,

  • Ten years to make one well received game. After two failed high budget titles, an attempt at a franchise, Ghostwire and a mobile game supported for only five months.

    The studio head Shinji Mikami left shortly after Hi-Fi rush. So I would guess any projects they had in the works weren't interesting enough to justify the costs.
