I think the real value is amount of rare metals that could be harvested, scientists have found an asteroid that is comprised mostly of metals. Scientists think it may be the exposed core of a proto planet:
So that kind of haul could potentially be worth it, but smelting, refinement and processing would probably be more cost effective in space. Who knows what the future will bring, mining the asteroid belt may only make sense once we have a much strong presence in space, I.E., colonies on Mars, the Moon, etc etc.
I'm so intrigued by the prospect of mining asteroids! The amounts of metals and other resources, including rarer things like platinum family metals is incredible. There are some serious challenges that would need to be overcome, but the first country or company which pulls it off would open the doors to a future where we don't need to rip up earth to obtain all the rare stuff we need for high tech industry. And with huge amounts of asteroids being in the belts in our solar system, a practically inexhaustible supply too.
I tried running the armcord wrapper, but when I wanted to stream a game to my friends in the server, it wouldn't work through armcord , then getting armcord shut down and logged into Discord proper was hugely problematic so I ended up abandoning it all together.
I think the hurdle we have is, no one but the privacy minded want to change, so for individual decisions like switching off of gmail to proton mail, works great, but for apps that are group based in nature, and only have value if everyone is using it..... just about impossible to make the switch.
It sure seems that way doesn't it? It feels like all of a sudden since Trump was president, it's A-Okay to be openly a bigot. It felt like we had moved past all that bullshit but suddenly it's back and the worst it's been in years.
I'd like to use something other then Discord, but the problem is none of my friends give a shit about privacy and all use Discord still. I will have zero chance getting them to make the switch when they inherently don't care about their data privacy.
A male witch is a warlock right? Perhaps he's a reality warper, and isn't predicting things like Trump becoming president, but rather he's MAKING IT HAPPEN!!! BURN THE WARLOCK!
I think half the fun of a zombie movie is the confusion and disarray of society having no idea what's going on, why Mom is trying to bite me, why is my sister already laying in a pool of blood!? So yes, I think it works best for the characters to not have zombie fiction in their world, so they learn what's happening and why getting bit is such a bad thing.
I have the same issue with grading systems. I feel judged, and don't want to continue until I get a better rating. Generally this ends with me petering out on the game faster than usual.

Metal asteroid Psyche has a ridiculously high 'value.' But what does that even mean?
