I know my time here is fucked, but I'll do whatever I can to build momentum for future generations.

As a high school graduate with no higher education and social issues, my options are limited... but I do what I can, try to educate myself on current issues, and spread as much positivity as I can muster.

Yeah he does. And if he didn't figure it out, he's got people "advising" him that know it, too.

I listened to a podcast interview with his daughter, and he seems like a genuinely good person. At least in her opinion.

And Idiocracy holds up better today than when it released.

One person can do both. Plenty of min. wage workers (Looking at you Walmart and Amazon) rely on welfare to survive month to month.

While likely talking out of both sides of their mouths on this issue, they're also fine that minimum wage isn't a living wage.

If you're concerned that your college age "offspring" can't be trusted to choose what they learn and who they learn it from, you've failed as a parent.

It was never about life. It's about power and control.

Nope. It's actually exactly how our brains work.

Life will mirror the narrative you have in your head. If your story is "This is impossible" you don't do anything to make it happen because you believe it's pointless. Change the story to "This is hard but doable" and you'll do more to affect change.

The more you change the narrative to the positive, the better things get and more people are able to change their narrative.

Spreading doomerism just goes to ensure we all end up doomed.

People just ignore this kind of advice because they think it's shallow or "too easy," lol. And it's not self centered unless your story is.
