Depends, do you mean the ones that are on Steam or others too?

To be fair I don't really like any os that is out there right now but I don't have an option that I would really like. I have a Mac as my work laptop my pc runs both Windows 10 and Manjaro. I also have a Steam Deck and a Rog Ally. Frankly I have complaints and issues for each OS and use each of them for different task and things. My point is I don't really like any of them but from all of those choices Linux is kinda the lesser evil. If there was a way better option like a forth os that everything works, all apps would be compatible with it, it would be less of a hassle and not spy on me and especially not force updates on me or crush do to multiple reasons including the forced updates then sign me up cause I would switch to it in a heartbeat.

I'm of the same sentiment but I don't judge people that pay for porn, after all without them paying for it there would be no money in the porn industry so as a consequence no porn either. Simply put I will never pay for porn but I'm glad that others do so I can feed my addiction.

Don't know what to tell you man, frankly the amount of effort you have to put up during sex not to mention the amount of nagging you have to put up with in order to get sex kinda is off-putting to me or more specifically it's at 50/50 but I do sometimes prefer to masturbate rather then have sex due to what I mentioned above.

Not sure but tell you what, I watch porn for at least 2 hours a day every day and I never once paid for it. Now I said 2 hours cause I don't include hentai or hentai games in that. To be fair even thought I pirate most hentai games I did buy the ones that I really enjoyed and are on Steam. So no for porn I never payed I did however payed for hentai. And I most certainly have an addiction or at least a disorder considering the amount of time I waste on this!

She should but she does not as I mention in another post anyone at team leader or above in all the companies that I work so far bearly had any technical skill and didn't have any idea about this shit, only some bits and pieces that they got through some documentation that the dev team made. They had some vague idea of how our infrastructure works but that about it.

So you mean another person that has no idea because is higher up on the chain of command that all he/she cares about is how to make more money ? Seriously in any company I worked untill not everyone at the level of management or above had mostly no idea about this shit and most of them I have no idea how they got in those positions as they have close to 0 technical skill! And the speeches that those people do are made by people that again are not part of the infrastructure or development team. I do find this disturbing as hell but at this point it's also what I expect to happend as I only seen this shit.

Any company CEO does not know shit that goes on in the dev department so her answer does not surprise me, ask the Devs or the team leader in charge of the project. The CEO is only there to make sure the company makes money as he and the share holders only care about money!

Quick question why are you so sure that startpage, duckduckgo or brave are not tracking your data ? As far as I'm concerned they need to make money too there is no such thing as free shit. Also even if they are more private and don't track your date if the search is not giving the results you want/need it's not really a good search engine, I'm saying this as a few years back I tried duckduckgo and it was so bad at that point at giving results I wanted/needed that even bing was doing a better job.

Well to be fair even if you go full conspiracy theory or whatever an go insane to the point of blocking everything I doubt you are completely safe from anyone knowing who you are or what you do. In my country a few years back it was a big scandal because the internet ISPs were decrypting trafic and we're knowing everything anyone did on the internet as well as selling that date to ad companies. So I don't really care about this shit anymore cause I already know someone somewhere is already selling my data, I use an ad block just to not be bothered by stupid pop-up ads and that's about it.
