  • Yes, human tails are hairless. Here are photos of vestigial tails on humans.

Sometimes our body tries to include traits of our ape primate ancestors. Vestigial tails are not that uncommon. They are typically surgically removed from infants in 1st-world countries.

Years ago, I realized DBZ would be way weirder if their tails were accurately hairless....

  • Alright, everyone needs to learn to identify trolls/hateful idiots and just not engage when it's on this level. To be crystal clear, I'm referring to the user Earthwormjim91.

If this individual truly believes the delusional bullshit they're peddling, do you really think you are going to change their addled mind? No. Just bury hate and misinformation like this with downvotes and move on.

There's no fruitful discussion to be had with people like this. They just spew bullshit like diarrhea in regard to any evidence or counterpoint. They argue in bad faith and are not bound by facts, logic, or the truth.

Engaging with toxic users like this just provides more comments for them to respond to and spread more hateful lies and misinformation.

    Don't feed trolls people.

  • EDS is what my last provider mentioned might be a better diagnosis. The joint symptoms fit, but I definitely don't have the skin or blood cell issues that can present in EDS. Which I'm definitely grateful of.

  • This really hit close to home for me. I was diagnosed with "hyper-mobility" when I was a teenager, but my doctor told me it was kinda a catch-all diagnosis. He told me it is degenerative and the only "treatment" is exercise to have tone muscle support my joints. Other provides have echoed this over the years.

I haven't had a day free of pain since 2nd grade. It affects all my joints and I have frequent dislocations. I've been able to manage it with exercise for years and it's provided me with an insane pain tolerance. But covid + RSV + pneumonia and secondary infections + long covid had me on my ass for so long, I neglected my joints and I've been in the worst flare up of my life.

I have to rehab slowly, but every time I exercise, it causes such bad systemic inflammation and cervicogenic migraines. It's a vicious cycle that's hard to break. Dry herb (Volcano) vaping medical marijuana and then gaming is literally the only time I feel an escape right now.

It helps me to disassociate from my pain and focus my attention on something so engrossing that my brain can't spare attention to the 'dulled' perception of pain. It's not like the pain is gone, but it's changed and it's a momentary relief. But even if only momentarily, finding some sort of respite is essential for your sanity.

I would still be here without gaming, but my quality of life would be a hell of a lot worse.

  • I never heard of them much/from their members until I moved to the Midwest. It's definitely a boys club, but it seems to mostly consist of boisterous rednecks in the Midwest, who think they're some secret society badasses.

That's just my anecdotal experience tho.

  • I believed he was smart and innovative when I first heard of him. But then he opened his mouth and I called him for what he was way back then.

I thought most people finally started to see him for what he is back when that Thai soccer team were trapped in the cave, and Musk was throwing one of his first public temper tantrums. He called that one innocent person assisting with the rescue a pedophile because they criticized Musk's preposterous idea to invent a mini sub to rescue them.

He is a racist, bigoted, petulant man-child. Oh, and definitely a whiney little bitch.

  • I am in the 1% of humans worldwide who can lick their own elbows.

    Please, no autographs..

Edit: I'm dumb and misread the question. I read it like: "What statistic about yourself do you desire the world to know about?"

  • I typically only dream in color. I'm also one of the rare people who experiences pain in my dreams.

Like recently I had a dream where I was attacked by a shark and it bit my hands. It felt just like when my hands were bitten by a dog (in real life). I could feel my hands being crushed and hear the sounds of my cartridge crunching like in the dog bites.

Even if I don't have a reference point for it, I'll still experience pain for injuries like a gunshot or terrible aching pain radiating from a compound fracture or something. I've had zombie dreams where I've felt bites being taken out of me when swarmed and eaten alive.

Now if I could only learn to lucid dream reliably...
