  • They are prone to health problems, particularly those bred in captivity. Cheetahs born in captivity are prone to a disease similar to mad cow disease, which is believed to be transmissible and kills around 70% of the Cheetahs in captivity. It's sad, but also pretty interesting. Source

  • This is a problem with cheetahs as well, where it's theorized that only a small group survived the last ice age, and survived thru inbreeding. Because of this, they are essentially genetic "clones" of one another with almost zero genetic variability, and they have about a 50% chance to successfully receive transplants without the need for the medication typically required to prevent rejection. • For anyone who may see that link but not click it, Avi Loeb does not state this is proof.

I'm not a conspiracy nut job. If you had said from the beginning his publicity-seeking can hinder or complicate things, that would be different. But that's not what you claimed. You made repeated false claims here.

I asked you for links because you were making erroneous claims and misquoting him; not because I'm a conspiracy theorist.

  • I feel like I'm arguing with an anti-vaxxer here.... you're still misrepresenting his claims and the situation.

He sent the material to labs in order to analyze them for their chemical structure. Not "Hey, prove these are from an alien spaceship!"

He also has not claimed definitively that they are from an alien spaceship, as you keep falsely claiming. He has stated that it's molecular structure, trajectory, speed, etc. are all very unusual and that it could be indicative of a piece of manufactured technology, such as a probe, which collided into our planet.

That is what Avi Loeb has claimed. Not the ignorant misinformation you're peddling in the comments here.

  • That's not true. The material has been sent to multiple independent laboratories for analysis. Why are you spreading false information here? And do you understand that a thorough scientific analysis and publishing research takes time?

Edit: Since you're putting words in his mouth in an attempt to discredit the validity of the subject, here is an actual quote:

"It has material strength that is tougher than all space rock that were seen before, and catalogued by NASA," added Loeb, "We calculated its speed outside the solar system. It was 60 km per second, faster than 95% of all stars in the vicinity of the sun. The fact that it was made of materials tougher than even iron meteorites, and moving faster than 95% of all stars in the vicinity of the sun, suggested potentially it could be a spacecraft from another civilization or some technological gadget." Source

That's not stating definitely that he has proof of aliens. It's also the first time material from an interstellar object has been recovered on Earth. This is an exciting development for the scientific community and mankind, but it's unfortunately being convoluted by people who are too ignorant and narrow-minded to objectively consider the information.

  • If anyone's knee-jerk reaction here is to dismiss this subject as crackpot, I strongly encourage you to read my post in which I have gathered a tremendous amount of evidence supporting the existence of UAP, as in physical crafts that possess breakthrough/disruptive technology.

Doesn't mean aliens, and whether or not they are of terrestrial origin has no bearing on whether or not the objects themselves exist, which they do.

Just because the general public and media haven't caught up, it doesn't mean this is an erroneous subject. Like Avi Loeb here who leads Harvard's Galileo Project, scientists and physicists are beginning to lend this subject credence and study it scientifically.

I am a very skeptical person. If you consider yourself an open-minded, scientifically oriented, rational thinker, than approach my post with healthy skepticism (as you should). But if you dismiss it outright without consideration, then you're engaged in an intellectually dishonest approach to the subject.

It's absurd to dismiss this reality when there are events in which there are video, radar, and expert eye-witness accounts that all corroborate one another.

  • That's a testament of your capacity for empathy and being a decent human being. It sucks that you saw it, but it'd be more concerning if it didn't fuck you up a little. That's trauma you've picked up from witnessing their trauma...

It's not unreasonable to talk to a mental health professional if you continue to feel troubled by this. There's no shame in getting help if you need it.

  • Not enjoying shitposting saved me here too. Like you, I've blocked so many meme communities. Not a hater, just not the content I'm interested in.

It saved us here, but who knows where they could end up spamming it next?

  • You've already had to take all that on, don't add self-blame on top of it. This wasn't your fault and no reasonable person would blame you. I really feel for what you and the admins have had to endure.

Don't hesitate to reach out to supports or speak to a mental health professional if you've picked up trauma from the shit you've had to see. There's no shame in getting help.

  • I hope you guys are doing okay having to see all that shit.. No shame in reaching out to mental health professionals. Makes me sad imagining you guys picking up emotional baggage and trauma having to see all that to protect the community.

I appreciate you guys looking out for us, but I hope you all have proper support yourselves.

  • The longer it continues, the more likely that scenario is IMO. Bitter alt-right extremists would probably start losing interest after a short while, whereas social media competitors would stand to gain from long-term interference.

  • Good job making absolutely no substantive point and trying to undermine this as an erroneous subject when it's not. You also are clearly misinformed when there are clearly varying sizes to the UAP.

Furthermore, would you look at an aircraft carrier and assume that it must be some massive physical beings inside, rather than many beings of smaller stature?

Your grand stand is nothing more than a display of your own ignorance. Read my post and refute the substantial evidence that anomalous crafts exist. It does not mean the crafts could not be of human origin. Just look at the declassified Project 1794 which I have in my post.

Your fixation on whether or not UAP are of terrestrial origin has absolutely no bearing on whether or not the crafts exist. It's nothing more than a strawman argument (logical fallacy).

If you want to have a genuine discussion on the matter, actually formulate an argument instead of acting like a childish redditor and insulting other people on a subject you're clearly ignorant of.

I am not presenting big-haired ancient alien nonsense from the history channel. I present valid information and a rational argument.

If you think this is not a valid subject of study and that those who do are dumb, then you must be smarter than world renown scientists studying this subject.

Just because you haven't caught up and are still disregarding the subject due to preconceived internalized beliefs, it doesn't mean it is not a credible subject. If you truly think I'm ignorant and you're right, read my post and then get back to me. Otherwise I might as well be arguing with an anti-vaxxer who refuses to acknowledge the evidence.

  • Things can be cross-posted so duplicates don't repeatedly show up. I'm seeing this article 3 times in a row on my front page. You should post it once and cross-post to the relevant communities rather than spam the link.

  • Yeah. And I used to live near Eglin AFB. That's not what was witnessed and not what I was describing.

I edited my comment above with this link in which I have compiled significant evidence supporting the existence of UAP, as in anomalous crafts.

It's not an irrational, wild belief. It's based in reality and from admissions from government/military officials and declassified and leaked records. There's hard data in the form of video, expert eye-witness accounts, and radar data that all corroborate one another in some events. Read the section on the Nimitz Event that I have written.

I used to discount this as a bogus fringe topic, and admittedly I joke that I've become Dale Gribble (RIP Johnny Hardwick..). But the reality is that there is validity to the existence of anomalous crafts that represent breakthrough/disruptive technology.
