  • I wish I could have all of them! Maybe some day...

I was never really interested in any Pokemon game after the first two gens. They just didn't feel like different enough games to me. So with GBA, I only grabbed the remakes of the first gen when they came out.

  • It's a great game! And Treasure seemed to work in every graphical trick they could get out of the system. There's some impressive and chaotic graphics in that game.

  • The mother games are the only repros I've purchased, it's a crime that Nintendo didn't localize those for NA or EUR!

So it's just a cheap repro from eBay with an English patch. I have a flash cart too, which is probably the better way to go.

  • Thank you

  • It's too hard to choose!

Advance Wars is always a solid choice, with the ability to create your own maps it never really gets old.

Metroid Fusion is one of my favorites too.

Drill Dozer is a blast to 100%, and WarioWare is fantastic any time you pick it up!

There are too many great games on this system for me to choose!

I'm still looking to grab Iridion II, it's supposed to be the superior game to the first. Love the music in Iridion 3D though ๐Ÿ‘

  • Yep ๐Ÿ‘.

I used to be a day 1 rooter and customizer, but so many of the little annoyances I've had with the OS over the years that I would root to change have either already changed to my preference or are now something that I can customize without root.

  • I think the ability to play carts is part of why this is over $100, that takes a lot more hardware than just an emulation box does.

  • It does hit as pricy at first, but I don't think it's unreasonable given what they're doing here and what (I'm sure) BOM costs are right now.

  • Nice! I had seen a couple rom hacks for the originals that add the QoL changes, but I don't remember seeing the rearranged game. I'll have to look into it!

  • Pokรฉmon? Probably Red, it was my first (bought when it came out) and I have the most nostalgia for that one.

Of all those carts? I don't think I could choose. Probably just plain old Tetris, but there are so many great games.

  • I had to settle for a cart with some label damage to experience it on original hardware.

It's on the Nintendo Switch online service now though, that might be an option?

  • Me too! Unfortunately, the cart won't fit into the Game Genie. It has a significant hump at the top that prevents it from going in backwards (like carts have to for the Game Genie).

  • It has a Bible matching game and a Bible version of hangman, and I've always liked hangman ๐Ÿ‘

  • They were alphabetized in the bins ๐Ÿ˜…

  • I never grabbed Crystal. In hindsight - I should have, probably not something I'll buy for what it goes for now.

  • I have no friends! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  • Mole Mania is fantastic ๐Ÿ‘

I never heard anyone talking about that one back in the 90s, seems like more people know about it nowadays.

  • The empty cases (and bins that I keep my games in):
