God I wish, food prep is one of my least favorite things to do lol.

I put pretty much all of my stainless steel stuff in the dishwasher and it's fine

Cast iron has a weird cult following. It's like the jahovas witnesses of cookware

I have no fear of cooking with it, I just want my cookware to be minimally fussy and not require special treatment. If the $10 Walmart skillet can be thrown in the dishwasher and the $100 cast iron one requires me to baby it or it'll rust, I'll go with the cheap skillet every day.

He was also incredibly racist and extremely homophobic even before his schizophrenia got bad. I don't want to play suffering Olympics here but you can suffer from mental health issues and still be an awful person.

For the life of me, I can't understand how people think Russia is communist. Like, at least the PRC is nominally communist and describes itself as a communist state (even if it's not really doing communism).

But Russia? The USSR was dissolved decades ago. The Russian Federation never claimed to be communist. Are these people just stuck in the Cold War?

I'd say the reason the Democrats won't move left is because the party elite have a lot of donors they'd piss off by actually supporting serious leftist economic policy.

Well tbf the reason I'm complaining is that the status quo sucks and isn't going to get better, even if the Dems sweep next election.

Some of Tim Walz's largest donors are health insurance and professionals. They have financial incentives to keep the status quo. With Democrats like this, who needs Republicans?

Brian Thompson, the CEO who was killed and raised the denial rate of UHC to be twice the industry average, was also unelected.

And yet, actions taken by the UHC CEO have doubtlessly caused far, far more suffering and death. Why aren't you criticizing him?

Tim Walz made some gross tweet mourning this guy and calling it a tragic loss. Kinda underlines the whole "Democratic establishment is out of touch" line we've been hearing since the election
