I knew that this was going to happen as soon as they started purging voter rolls and passing draconian voter suppression laws after Trump lost. Biden just barely beat Trump in 2020, so all they had to do was give Trump a little bump - a few thousand votes nullified here or there would win him a whole state. The media focus in 2020 was on the "historic turnout", but how many of those were covid mail-in ballots that red states didn't allow this time? How many people showed up on election day ready to vote for Kamala only to get turned away because they weren't on the registry even though they voted in 2020?

Republicans cheated in more than one way this time, and we got screwed because we failed to stop it early.

Even if it passes, he will never be removed from office. There is no low that Trump can sink to where Republicans will not fall in lockstep with him. It's pointless.

Pathetic numbers, but that's the best Trump is ever going to get when the right manufactures a border crisis for him every election cycle.

I really prefer Domino's, but their prices are outrageous so I don't go there anymore. If I'm going to pay a shitload of money for pizza, I get a whole New York Style pizza so I can really enjoy it. Might start making my own now though, tbh. How hard could it be?

You don't need everyone to do it, but if you can get enough people to do it, it will be foolish for those 2M+ follower accounts to not also have a presence on pixelfed or wherever. Most content creators are not limited to just one platform. Streamers will stream to Twitch, edit and upload the vod to YouTube, cut highlights and make shorts or tiktoks, etc.

Why would I give the IRS an interest free loan? Taking that same 5% from your paycheck directly and setting up an automatic transfer to a high-yield savings account or an IRA each month would give you better dividends over the same period of time.

Pizza is also ridiculously expensive where I live. For something that is comprised of almost entirely dough, cheese, and tomato sauce, it's kind of criminal that some places are charging $20 or more for a large pie. It probably cost them $1.50 worth of ingredients to make when you factor in bulk pricing.

By the way, accepting a presidential pardon is an admission of guilt. It's why some people refuse them - it damages their ability to argue innocence in court cases.

Funny how Biden thinks the felon in chief gives a shit about some magic words. If he wants to punish him, he will, and nobody can stop him now.

With this SCOTUS, nothing is ever completely off the table, but I'd like to think that they wouldn't make a sweeping decision like that which could potentially call into question the legitimacy of the citizenship status of hundreds of millions of Americans (including their own) just for the sake of appeasing Trump.
