It’s quite jarring how everything pre-season 7 is compared to the rest. Like most the characters are quite deep with conflicting emotions and not caricatures. Especially season 2. Like “Bart gets an F” episode, that kind of empathetic emotional portrayal of bart would never happen post season 10.

And we really went from Homer is a dumb guy who genuinely loves his family and is suffering under an oppressive system, to well “jackass homer”.

I’m not against this being an optional feature.

But since I’m a bit strict privacy wise I wouldn’t use it myself.

Yeah, I don’t think losing the club world cup is a great loss. Even amongst football fans it’s super controversial and a lot of people are boycotting it.

It’s funny though, because despite some leftover socialist aesthetic its hard to get more capitalist. I mean it’s pretty obvious state capitalism. You can’t have billionaires 80 years into your “socialist project”.

There’s no US military stationed in Taiwan. The closest US bases are in Okinawa and the Philippines.

The only “military” the US has in Taiwan are some training consultants for the taiwan army, there’s no boots on the ground.

What’s so sad about Hong Kong is I know we’re probably all going to watch this go down again in Taiwan.
