I was kind of an ass through a chunk of my 20s. I said a lot of stupid things, and wasn't good at maintaining friendships.
If I could go back in time and tell people how much I care about them and enjoy their company, I absolutely would.
Yeah, that price tag is kind of bugging me, especially after the NES Classic, SNES Classic, and Playstation Classic were all $100 or less and had more built-in games. The ability to play 7800 and 2600 carts is cool, though.
My original plan was to be a smartass and rent a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (this was 2009, Blockbuster still existed) but we got very sidetracked with everything going on that day and I wasn't able to do it. Ah well!
Maybe you like variety. When you listen to an entire album all the way through, you’re getting a bunch of songs that are (most likely) the same genre, the same singer, possibly the same tempo, etc.
Radio stations aren’t going to play a bunch of songs by the same artist back to back (unless it’s some sort of programming block), so you get a variety of sounds and voices. Even a radio station that sticks to a specific genre will play a bunch of artists each with their own unique style.
Listening to an album front to back can be fun experience, but also there's merit in a big shuffled playlist of various songs from multiple artists you like.
I started on lemmy.fmhy.net, then jumped to lemm.ee when I heard about the domain issues. But I wasn't aware of just how big lemm.ee really was, and I like the idea of being on a smaller instance to help with decentralization. I looked around and saw leminal.space and I thought that was a pretty good pun. It was really as simple as that.
You can either share your screen/window or upload a file. There's probably a filesize limit, but I'm not sure what it is. I was using it to upload episodes of GameCenter CX to stream and I didn't have any issues, but those episodes aren't super huge. YMMV if you're trying to upload a bluray rip or something.
Danny Tanner hosted a morning show, right? And Uncle Joey was a comedian and Uncle Jesse had a band? I've got a hunch they wouldn't be able to afford a house in San Francisco even with all those salaries combined.
According to my father in law: everything's fine, actually. It's hot, sure, but it's been hot before. The actual problem is that The Weather Channel has started to get political/go woke and push an agenda.
So next time it's so hot the power grid can't take it or your house is destroyed in a flood or forest fire, it's just that pesky Weather Channel!
Yer a wizard, pardner.
