  • I've been watching all their episode breakdowns on their other channel FourStarBento. All the creators are so passionate about the show still and I'm really enjoying learning about all the little details in the abridged series. To be honest I was kind of hoping that at the end of it they would finish with a "We're doing Buu!!!" but this is nice too. I still wish we could get an entire season though

  • Wonder what the dlc will be about?

I have a few ideas but don't want to put spoilers here.

If this is a continuation of the main story then I don't mind but if this is just content placed in the middle of the story like FF 15 then I don't know why I keep buying games on launch just to get a partially complete experience.

Let's hope the difficulty of this dlc is also higher. I felt like in the main game Clive melted any non boss enemies after the halfway point of the game

  • It's good and bad. I miss most of the niche communities that I frequented on Reddit but on the other side I am commenting and interacting on Lemmy much more than reddit. It feels good to have some discussion. Hopefully the niche communities I miss will grow in time. Another good thing is that since Lemmy is much smaller than Reddit I'll run out of new content quickly and go do something else instead. So now I'm not mindlessly scrolling for ages. I am noticing that since this is such a small community with a very specific group of people that use it (left leaning/tech) that it generally has much less diverse content and memes compared to Reddit. This matters more on Lemmy since most of the content is focused on broad appealing things compared to Reddit which had bigger niche communities.

  • I've heard of Tezuka but never read any of his works. I have heard of the ones you listed though (except the Adolf one).

You said they're decent? Do you think they're worth reading today? I always imagined the stories in these to be pretty simple and mostly aimed at children

  • I'm curious, how do people feel about these remakes replacing the old games? I for example have only played RE 1 HD Remake and RE 2 Remake and most likely will never play the originals. As someone who enjoyed the games but isn't in love with the series do you think this is ok? That these games are basically replacing the old ones?

  • Hope it's good. Feels a bit weird going from Endwalker which honestly felt like a definitive ending to what looks like a beach episode in Mexico lol. I actually thought we'd be spending less time with the scions too and meet new characters instead but I guess not? I'm still excited though. Need to find some time to catch up to 6.5 before summer next year

  • I wonder what the player numbers are like compared to Overwatch 1? Since it's "free" now I guess they have way more players. So glad I never got super into any of Blizzards games. If one of my favourite game developers was this scummy I'd be so disappointed
