I don't think that's the argument being made. I can't speak for OP but, Obama was objectively a mediocre president.
He was a wall street loving centrist democratic politician.
He campaigned on change and then he bailed out the big banks when the shit hit the fan. Sure, he had some redeeming policies. (ACA and such)
However, this does not detract from the fact that he created no tangible change to the status quo. His shortcomings led directly to the rise of the same rightwing populism that's decimating government institutions today.
Agreed. It's a foreign concept to me of like a "general boycott". I think a corporate boycott might be better. Moreover boycotts aren't usually a single day.
I'm sorry you're going through that. I'm currently reforming myself of those same tendencies.
My excuse was and is money but, it's only that, an excuse. So I started making construction paper cards and origami flowers. It's not the flowers and restaurants they used to be but, she seems to appreciate it.
P.s. the origami lily folds refuse to sink into my smooth brain. I gotta watch the same YT vid Everytime 😞
Iirc they largely rolled into the Republican party. Which is what might happen to a large majority of Democrat politicians that lean center right, if the party actually becomes Democratic again.
True and, the inverse is the soul crushing monotony of the minimum wage job.
I think the ones that should be compensated more are those that society really can't run without AND, are largely undesirable even with adequate compensation.
Seriously, engage with his whole presidency. How would you rate his performance in it's totality?
