  • Didn't these strikes take out weapons and military matriell left behind by the Syrian Army? Not a supporter of Israel or their war in a any way, but that region needs less missiles.

The expansion on Golan is again a Nethanayu atrocity

  • Food doesn't evolve in a vacuum. I love how cultures meeting also means developing music, traditions, music and food. Vietnamese is fusion of Asia and France. Viet-Cajun is vietnamese in the south of US. And then you get the marvelous vier-cajun-viet! British Indians developing the food.

Salmon sushi is Norwegian (ish) so different sauce on sushi...bring it on

  • How does that work? They still have to buy the power from someone, and those prices have increased. Or do they own their own power plant/turbine/whatever. Then they should sell the excess and subsidize their citizens.

  • I think I like it because it's a classic spy thriller with comedy. Some interesting characters portrayed by stellar performers. Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) and Diana Taverner (Kirsten Scott Thomas) are so good. And season four has a beautiful piece of slapstick where the self important River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) falla flat on his face in a moment of triumph

  • I have a 2 year old so what I find time to see is quite limited. Perhaps my opinion is a result of watching TV-shows adapted from books (Slow Horses), reality (Clarkson's Farm) and crime/thrillers with a "monster of the week" structure, but with a slight narrative over a season (criminal minds)

  • I hardly watch movies anymore since I find the format limited compared to TV shows.

Last TV show - Slow Horses season 4

Last original movie in a movie theater was probably the Pokemon Movie.

Last movie in a movie theater was Dune part one. (Which for one was a hell of a good remake tbh)

  • Not even slightly offended. I have no issues with the trans community. Just pointed out the inconsistency in the use of WH40K related iconography. Would think a custodes (that now even have confirmed female members, much to the chagrin of the basement dwelling neck beards) would be a better choice.

I love the 40k setting, but I am also wary when it is used outside of that setting as it is really not a nice place, and often the people who idolizes it are not nice people.

  • Is the use of what looks like the Black Legion because they are trans humans? They are very much a danger to humans. Or is the Emperor here a symbol of intolerance.

Even tho' I agree with the sentiment of the sticker.. Tbh in a real life situation I will side with the Emperor every time as it in the lore is the only thing that stops my soul from being devoured by warp spawn when I die. Fuck traitor space Marines.

  • Biggest surprise: Final Fantasy tactics. Bought it for PSOne, PSP and Android.

    Time spent playing: WoW

Story: (though category to pick one) Deus Ex

Honorable mentions: Day of the Tentacle Minecraft Final Fantasy VII Diablo Mass Effect series Portal series Half Life series

  • That game is one of my saddest histories. As a bit to young to play it I bought it and found it immensely boring just slogging through the dungeon at the start. Didn't understand the weapon system. Eventually after several tries I got into the city proper but couldn't handle that first boss fight. Put it aside and never picked it back up again. Still have the game somewhere. No PSOne tho'

  • Density of whole milk according to first google answer is 1,034g/cm^3.

It's been a while, but would that make it 438,68 ml?

Edit: But I totally agree with your statement. SI/ metric units is superior in every way with how easy it is to convert between them. At university in Norway I had American textbooks in all but one of my chemistry classes and all used SI/metric and proper names for the elements

  • It used to be that any DC skating shoe size 12 for me. Could just pick a model and leave the store. Then they became a fashion brand rather than a skateboard brand and suddenly it was made for tiny model feet.

A got older with an older body I just get the Bondi8 for summer and Kaha for winter as HOKA does wide and quarter sizes.
