Unless you're incredibly deep into technical functions, Krita is 100% the way to go. Gimp is not horrible, but I have a bias against it, because i found it ridiculously unintuitive and hard to learn to use

It's sweet that you think the average person has an actual effect on the direction our government takes. The only way to get stuff done is mass protest, and we sure as hell aren't getting people to protest deleting Edge when we have much, much bigger problems here atm.

I hate that the extra mouse buttons (mouse 4 and 5 I think?) are set to back and forward. Way too many mice are super easy to read on accident, but it's not a big deal because it doesn't do anything except when "gaming" or if you set it up for something specific. Can't tell you how many times I've accidentally gone back.

God this gives me PTSD of the similar spatulas my grandparents insist on getting for some reason XD a big reason I don't skimp on quality kitchen supplies now. I recommend, if it's available, anyone who wants good kitchen stuff that won't break easy, try finding an Asian market of some kind with an appliance etc. section. The Korean market near me sells all type of great wooden spatulas, tongs, etc. and also stainless steel, for a great price. Way better than the overpriced trash at the big box stores.

That's so interesting to me, because as someone thinking about switching over to Linux after playing around with it a bit, one of my main motivations is the ability to customize the desktop like crazy. Personally I like the minimal modern look, but I like that you can make it anything you want.
