I blocked it actually, but that doesn’t help people learn. You need to know that you’re bad if you’re ever going to reform. As soon as people stop replying, I’ll stop getting notifications, so you’re all basically keeping me here through your own choices.

every cop in every country is two things: 1. a thug who is willing to commit violent acts. 2. a dangerous authoritarian.

every police officer in every country is armed with a weapon of some sort. A cudgel is a weapon.

Adequately paid when you account for all their OT and other forms of compensation. plus the perks of being unfirable and immune to 99.9999999999% of prosecution. Since police corruption is systemic, and these cops are a part of that system, these cops are by definition corrupt.

I’ve lived in both rural and urban areas. Rural areas do indeed suck. People there lead boring purposeless lives so they’re always up in your business. If you keep to yourself they’ll just make shit up. This is not a problem in the city.

the idea was to sign up for the free trial, then cancel right away so that you don’t forget to cancel at the end of the trial. previously, in most cases, the trial would run it’s course and you could access it for the duration. Since companies rely on people forgetting to cancel (it’s the only reason anyone even has an apple TV subcription), they’re trying to make this simple life hack more difficult.
