  • I'm not personally concerned about them banning actual porn, I'm more concerned about the part of the plan where they're going to classify LGBT media as porn and ban it.

A lot of great content will either be pulled from streaming or heavily edited. Agatha All Along, one of the best Marvel shows, will be on the chopping block. And so will innocent preschool shows like Young Jedi Adventures because it features lesbian parents.

  • I think the basis of morality should be if it helps, it's good, if it hurts, it's bad. I realize there are still a lot of situations without easy answers but that's a good starting point. Better than it's good or bad because the rules say so.

  • As a Canadian, I'm relieved the conservatives didn't win the election but I would have rather preferred the NDP win. A lot of people like myself really wanted to vote NDP but voted liberal out of fear of vote-splitting leading to a conservative win. We've forsaken the left wing party to stave off the right wing party.

  • I don't know much about the effects of legalization on society as a whole, but I personally feel I have benefitted from weed being legal. I find weed to be useful in helping me sleep and manage stress. That said, people should also be educated about the potential dangers of weed. Using it too often can lead to neglecting one's responsibilities, and people underestimate the danger of driving while stoned. I also find, since I've gotten proper therapy, I don't need weed as much as I used to.

On principle, I think drugs should not be treated as a criminal issue. At most, drug addicts should be made to get treatment. Governments should focus on education and treatment instead of harsh punishment. People who are on drugs should feel safe admitting to what drugs they're on in the event of an emergency.
