  • I’m certain I won’t get it, as it’s not on my wishlist nor have I ever mentioned it to anyone, but my number one desired object right now is a life-sized, anatomically correct model of a specific non-human animal body part.

  • My aunt talked her mom out of kitchen remodel because it's going to cost so much (that she'll get smaller ineritance then) while my grandmom, who already spends most of her time alone at home then can't even spend her savings to make her surroundings a bit nicer.

  • I tend to be painfully aware of my underlaying motives when ever I'm about to post something and it's almost always some form of bragging so I refrain from posting it. If it's not something I'd like to see on my own feed I don't post it for others either.

  • What on earth are you talking about? Generational wealth is not a binary thing. There are people rich enough to pass their fortune to their kids and then there are ones who can't. That's how it has always been and that's how it's always going to be.

  • What's infuriating about this? Why the heck should I inherit something I haven't worked for? I've always told my parents and grandparents that dying with an empty bank balance is the ideal way to go. Hell, preferably be in debt.

  • I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a while untill after the 3rd injury I realised this isn't going to be good on the long run and I stopped doing it. However, it was long enough to see what a magical power that is so I'd say that being able to posses the skills of a black belt without going thru the training would be quite nice.

People don't realise how helpless you'll feel trying to wrestle with someone who knows what they're doing. Being bigger and stronger will not save you unless you get really lucky.

  • Similar argument can be used to justify the murder of many other people we would otherwise deem good. This is not the way. There's a reason we no longer act like we did during the middle ages. It's not for individual rogue actors to choose who gets to live and who doesn't. That's not a world anyone wants to live in.

  • I’m not saying it’s inconceivable that the murder of such a person could lead to positive change, but the murderer themselves should not be celebrated - they should be treated for what they are: a murderer. Encouraging vigilante justice will not create the kind of world people naively imagine. Not everyone agrees on who the “bad people” are.

This kind of violence will eventually be directed at our heroes too, and anyone celebrating people like Luigi will then have no moral ground to stand on from where to condemn that violence. It’s exactly what they asked for.

  • The amount of hate I get every time when I call out political opinions posted as "memes" is incredible. Every time it's either some mental gymnastics about how it actually counts as meme or alternatively ad-hominem accusations about my underlaying motives of only calling out left-wing political memes and never right-wing ones (I wonder why).

The truth is that my feed is almost exclusively politics despite me blocking every single political instance other than the ones for general news. I bet there's even a community dedicated to political memes but no. Some people absolutely have to inject their political views everywhere.

  • I said yay murder. I think we need more of it from both political sides especially. I don't want anyone to ever feel safe. I think the bigger should rule the weaker and the ones with guns the ones without. Also fuck elections. Let's just shoot the candidates we don't like untill we come across someone everyone is for and then lets shoot them too.
