  • Understandable, gov can say "I will buy 100 planes at $750M each", but it costs you $1B each, so you say no thanks

  • Yes, this is why you should use DNS over TLS. My router signal to every DHCP client that it is the DNS resolver, and internally use DoT/dnssec to query IPs. It also intercepts every request on DNS port in case of some DNS are hard-coded on some devices.

  • Reboot your router/DHCP server

  • Ubuntu is Debian anyway. Why not installing MX (based on Debian too) with XFCE, it is the best experience I have had.

I come from good old LFS from the 90s and for me, a distro is just a kernel with some GNU utils, a window manager, and a way to get packages (which is about the only diff between "distro")

  • I also have a PoCo F3 on MIUI, FF sucks like you said, but the worst is that sometimes it drains battery. Even if I force close it, there is a background task eating the battery.

For instance my phone is at 80% at 10PM, I go to bed, at 6AM it is at 40%, battery status says that 40% of the battery was taken by FF during the night.

  • I'm also using a trackball, it was Logitech ones and now a Sanwa Gravi

  • I don't denied Trudeau is bad and will not vote for him, but I'll not vote for CPC for sure, they are worst.

    You supported truckers in Ottawa?

You lost your credibility when you wrote "Trudeau is Trump light, but objectively more racist."

  • lol, you sound like a Qanon conspiracist. And it's Poilièvre who is a Trump light. Come on.

I'll never vote far right like conservatives, and will not vote PLC if Trudeau is here. I'll not vote for leftists like NDP too.

  • This, EDID dummy plug, $2 on aliexpress

  • I don't give a shit, I'm home since March 2020, I'll never go back to office. I'm in Montreal suburb and never again I'll commute 1h morning and 1h evening.

  • If there's a browser, then just put the tablet in landscape for instance, in kiosk mode if available, then load the web page you want to display like http://192.168.2.148/weather.html and add the auto-refresh in the html header of your web page or use dhtml etc

  • tcsh also! I used it a lot uhhhh last century

  • And all this because Docker needed libschmu.1.2.3.2 and unfortunately you have only libschmu.1.2.3.1

  • and to be sure, install all this on a VM image that you'll run in QEMU

  • Pretty sure you can run MX Linux 32bits on it

  • I remember seeing this on TV and was like WTF indeed!!!

  • Yup, I saw it multiple times, always a strange feeling

  • In Québec in 1998 during the ice storm, we missed power for 5 weeks. They derailled train to bring them at some place to plug their big diesel generators on the city power system.

Yes they were driving train on the asphalt road, I'm sure you can find pic and videos or it.
