  • So true. A lot of creators are actually very dependent on the accessibility of their content, but also the drama present on twitter. Mastodon takes patience not only from the creators but the users... What if they get bored before they see your content? Thats not good for business.

  • I loved how much trans joy was actually in this movie. If they're trying to detrans people its like... Wow look at all of these unbelievably happy trans people on youtube and tumblr. But did you know... If you take hormones for medical transition it has permanent effects? 👻

    Like... Yea, yea it does.

Prager U is starting to look like controlled opposition. Inadvertently putting the highlight on all of this awesome LGBT2SQIA+ content and people.

  • This is actually ridiculous

    1. People are frequently judgmental of what others enjoy, and it can be harmful (kinkshaming) but it can also just help us find more enjoyable things to do, it can feed ego and hedonism.
    2. Other groups of people love to share details about what they enjoy.

"You shouldn't care what other people think" is almost literally bad advice because its so vague.

Perhaps... You can choose to ignore what others say about the things you enjoy, you can decide to keep it a secret, or you can use other people to help find answers to life's never ending question: "How can I have a good time?"

  • Sometimes specificity is necessary for critique. I wonder how many analogs for Nazis and fascists were used in media back then, it feels like its a current trend and in the past they just used nazi imagery to be specific about who exactly are the enemies and assholes.

  • No I think this genuinely comes from a fear of trans people. Transphobia. But since you're being honest and good faith, and not hateful about it, I can see why it's confusing to be called transphobic.

  • Its complicated. Ugly people might not be pretty, but they're cute. Compensation is powerful. As an ugly but cute, I dont tend to date a lot of pretty people. I date loudly interesting and weird people.

  • When I see these uber cute images I just kinda imagine a real human in my mind and they come out looking my age (mid twenties). As a fan of people playing with their gender and presentation and posting pictures of it, though, the youngest looking person Ive seen is 35... So all of those 20 year olds better keep taking care of themselves.
