i lived in my city for 7 years taking the bus and i eventually had to get a car because a few jobs wouldn't hire me because i didn't have "appropriate transportation"
anyway fast forward to being at the job for a while, the parking lot stretches on so long that it's a 10 minute walk to the office from where i usually park, them i figured it i can take the bus to the building door in 15 minutes
so moral of the story is i bought a car to get the job and continued taking the bus
my house used to be rented out and got the "landlord special" regularly.
i was sanding the walls to prepare for a coat of paint and i found a baseball sized hole they had just put painters tape over and proceeded to paint over the tape.
that is impressive laziness. it takes almost no effort, time or money to plaster. especially when you're already painting
You can label me with whatever epithet you want, but the reality is that voting Democrat was the correct choice to minimize damage. Is that where it ends? No. Should the Democrats be raked over the coals for their current and past inaction? Absolutely.
The reality is, if anyone who is upset with the Democrats truly wanted change, they would understand that change is slow. "Teaching the party a lesson" has historically only resulted in a shift to the right. Direct action is the only thing that works. But while that effort continues, I’d certainly prefer if the checks and balances of the government weren’t being actively weakened and exploited.
it sure is and yeah i was being exagatory for effect but if you're just going to pretend there isn't some very real damage being done that could have been prevented then the .ml brainrot is real
What I constantly hear is deflections about how voting doesn't matter, but it fucking does, yes the Democrats suck but they are better, it's not even close.
Fight back and do everything you can to change what's going on and blame Democrats but don't sell out an entire election cycle to literal Satan to make that point
Nah we didn't bend to jack shit, Trudeau did what we were already doing and Trump called it good enough and now Trump's changing his mind because he's pulling from Putin's bag of tricks: soft power projection by questioning our sovereignty. Trudeau made the right call but unfortunately it doesn't matter.
