Why not? It seems to be working fine.

But it does matter. The US backs Isreals Genocide and is the one supporting there iron dome systems. Affecting public sentiment via protesting would make the US politicians less willing to send money to Isreal. That would influence the outcome.

Unlock origin has the block functionality where you can mark sites with a warning before entering, Unfortunately that "one button" part doesn't exist yet to my knowledge (leechblock might do it but I don't know)

Personally, I think everyone should go through at least one crisis when they are adolescents so they know how to handle things, or at least what traits they need to get under control. If you never experience something going wrong, when you can still bounce back, you will never survive "rolling snake eyes" and getting hit by a bad event.

Then again, some training on coping skills and then created scenarios where people must then use said coping skills (e.g. get left in the wild for 2 days with some food, a tent and the ability to chicken out on the condition they retake the course) would probably work as well.

The goal of the private prisons is to get the individual to commit more crimes so they get paid more. This means they are being paid to encourage and change people to break the law, as opposed to teach them to be better

They seem to be talking about the budgeting app "Mint" as opposed to the Linux OS. Linux Mint isn't going away any time soon.

At the end of the day, people have no option but to vote for the lesser of two evils, hense why people need to "Do politics" and create better parties or infiltrate existing ones and improve them from the inside. For those who can't do that, voting to minimize harm is the best many can do. By not voting, you choose to let the status quo remain the same or worse, regress.

Arch is a pain to setup BTW. It's worth it, though you'd be better using something like the installer for cachyOS to get the same experience

Unfortunately, Linux can't run everything *yet. What do you propose people do instead when they can't access the apps they need to play with friends or work?
