  • I feel for you and I'm sorry you also are going through it. I don't blame you for taking umbridge with this all. But I also live in constant pain as well, after a dog attack a few years ago I can't walk for more than an hour at a time, laying sitting and standing all hurt and even with pain meds, I can only get to a dull ache. I can't work and the life I had before is gone, it was such shit trying to prove to skeptical condescending doctors saying just to do stretches and it will get better, but... Here I am still waiting.

So while I feel where you are coming from with this time of chronic pain, I am ready to deal with this and other life debilitating conditions if I also get to feel like it was to run again, to climb, to see through the eyes of an athlete. To be able to walk normally and enjoy events again. I'd take my own pain and yours again to feel human again.

  • Honestly, those are all selling points. I'd love to understand how a coma patient thinks a few months in, a few years in and a few decades in. What it's like to die in war in the year, 700, 1700 & 2700. To die as a newborn and then eventually see how those very parents are affected. So long as it is randomized and I'm statistically likely to see something radically different tommorow, I don't think I'll ever get sick of the human experince.

  • Unwatchable???

I'm confused, I'm way more critical of it than alot of my friends (corporate feminism is of course paper thin and filled with holes) but it's still honestly hilarious with some super catchy music.

Obviously you are entitled to your own opinion, but unwatchable feels harsh to me. What turned you off?

  • What was life like for ever human that has ever existed? I'd like to see every single day start to finish from their perspective, sorted as randomly as possible.

The worst part of traditional immortality is being stuck as you, I'd like to experience the entire library and range of human experinces. It would eventually know how it started and how it all ended, while seeing every perspective that got us there. They'd be a lot of days toiling in a field, a lot of days in office cubicles toiling in excel, but most importantly I'd see the small victories and tragedies that make up every life. I think that'd be the real beauty.

  • "I had too many drinks at a Christmas party"

was also cited for having an open container in his truck.

I guess it was too many drinks while I literally driving. Just fucking typical for republicans πŸ™„

  • In November 2022, McCormick noticed a news report detailing an "unauthorized and unlicensed cannabis farm, located on unincorporated land," that was raided by members of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office. McCormick then met with members of the sheriff's office to provide paperwork showing the legality of his cannabis farm.

At around 4:30 a.m. local time on December 7, McCormick was woken up by members of the sheriff's office as they began their raid.

Fuck! He proactively went to show his legal status and all that did was put himself on their radar.

However, the sheriff's office was informed by members of the tribe that they were not authorized to conduct the raid on their land. In turn, members of the sheriff's office said the tribal members "didn't know what they were talking about," the lawsuit said.

Much of McCormick's property and cannabis plants were destroyed during the raid and officers confiscated $300,000 from the tribe's safe.

Outright theft. They had no jurisdiction and didn't care that they didn't.

Additionally, the lawsuit said that on January 8, 2023, McCormick's "family home 'mysteriously' caught fire, after the sheriff's office ordered power and water to his property to be turned off, resulting in the home "being completely burned down," along with much of his personal belongings.

Why would the water be shut off?! Goddamnit. Every part of this article is infuriating, nothing about this was law enforcement, just armed thugs raiding locals for fun and profit.

  • Either talk about the plot, set a production date or stop writing these nothing articles.

I mean, no duh Tarantino would do a Trek movie that has lots of blood. To be familiar with his name is to know that's his style. Just tired of years teasing how great something WOULD'VE BEEN but not saying why.

  • Dave Williams, the chairman of the state party, reaffirmed the plan. β€œI’m not going to let these sons of bitches dictate who we’re going to nominate,”

Where was Dave on January 6th?

  • Srsly?

GAWD. That is a sad sobering thought for such a fun, odd, colorful, wild fever dream of a game.

  • It's either journalism, in which you talk about news that comes up. Or it's being a freelance PR for publishers saying what they want, when they want in order to keep in the embargo ecosystem.

But that choices has been decided long ago by the major """news""" sites like IGN aren't, never have and never will be actual journalistisc outlets, they are a sock puppet hype machine for publishers to make ads and generate meaningless 9.5/10 reviews.

  • Well, yeah. I agree beauty is a flawed, racist, social construct that is just societal opinions in bulk. But money is also a fake social construct that has very real affects on everyday life. We can deconstruct the term "beauty" all night, but that doesn't change the lived reality of being called ugly having a real, genuine, hurtful effect on my self esteem.

  • Had a homeless guy get right in my face and shouted UGLY!

I know that probably has more to do with his life than mine, but it's hard not to take it personally and wonder if it's what everyone else is too polite to say.

  • Laughs in sober asexual transexual

    🀣 πŸ˜‚ 🀣

I mean it's funny how little these peoole understand the issues they are so passionate to talk about.

  • Miranda sings played Wow?

  • Honestly I think the pan, mask and the glasses are kind of a curse? How would I ever know if people actually like ME or just the glasses? All of my relationships would require keeping the glasses on, that's just stressful! How would I enjoy the taste of food or ever try new meals if it's always great? I'd just make the same thing over and over while being content, not actually happy. And if I sleep only an hour a day that's just gonna put me out of sync with the world and lead to loneliness.

The long cool down on the penny is honestly it's best feature, gives you room to still live your life.

  • I can cook, sleep, shower and make friends easily enough. And being able to run isn't very practical in the modern world so....

Lucky penny and then only using a stock market app twice a month please!

  • Well that's a disappointment. I wish more Nazi groups would take after their leader when it comes to self destruction.

  • If you're horrified by animals dying on a farm during a disaster then consider why they are on the first place. It's not a kindness to breed them in to a life of suffering, cages forced breeding only to be slaughtered. The real solution here is to stop the cycle of harming an animal for human pleasure.

(which is also the same reason dog/cock fighting is wrong)

  • Orly?! I had no idea! And also... no interest in actually looking into those games or buying Netflix again.

Thanks for the clarification! β™₯ πŸ’•

  • Wait, what?! πŸ˜‚ Okay, so is this gonna be a cloud based thing, because how stadia was so successfull? Or are these going to be downloaded apps? Or just stand alone choose your own adventure like black mirrors bandersnatch?

On its website, Netflix says by the end of the year it'll have 86 games for subscribers to play. This includes the recently announced Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - Definitive Edition off the back of the first trailer for GTA 6.

Or are they gonna mail me a disc for gta again? Lol I'm genuinely so confused what this will eventually look like.
