Lastly, Trump argues that he can’t be prosecuted because of “double jeopardy,” the Fifth Amendment rule that no person can be prosecuted for the same crime twice. Trump argues that his second impeachment hearing was when he was first put in jeopardy over January 6, so all subsequent prosecutions for his attempt to overturn the election should be dismissed.
This is my favorite. Totally admitting guilt, but maintaining since he wasn't punished by congress he can't be punished by a criminal court. It's honestly beautiful in its distilled coked out bullshit idiocy.
including a two-week stay this summer at a mental health facility after he allegedly made threats about carrying out a shooting at a National Guard facility.
He could have not made his intentions more clear. But had access to firearms regardless.
I have a rule of thumb about certain media. If you like Rick and Morty, Joker, Donnie Darko or Fight Club that's okay. But if any of those are you FAVORITE that's a low key red flag where I am gonna ask you to explain why...
Those aren't bad shows/movies, but they all feature very arrogant, can't-be-bothered-with-dummies, over the top rude men. It's a very edgy teenage immature thing to adore thess characters for the wrong reasons. It would never be a deal breaker, but it certainly isn't appealing.
Listing your favorite media is generic and doesn't actually tell much about your personality, everyone does it and makes you very skipable. Talk about that on the first date, but it won't help you get a date.
Jokes are good, but come up with something unique. Maybe make a silly acrostic out of your name? This type of creative writing is what high school English was actually for.
Make sure your photos varied, not just you at different angles. Ideally show your face, your full body, a community or outside activity you did with friends and a hobby (something you made ideally, art or food is good). Only put a picture of a pet if you are also in it.
Ask a question, since you said you like to read, give people a prompt to reply to like "What is your favorite memory from a book" or something. Make it easy for people to reply, give them something to go on besides just "Hi."
(and for the love of God don't mention Rick and Morty, I love it, but omg does the fan base have a reputation. Women will think you immature and keep on swiping)
Johnson called homosexuality a “inherently unnatural” and “dangerous lifestyle” that would lead to legalized pedophilia and possibly even destroy “the entire democratic system.”
Johnson led more than 100 Republican lawmakers in an amicus brief supporting a Texas lawsuit that sought to challenge the results of the election in states won by Biden. The brief cited concern about "unconstitutional irregularities" in the voting.
No Mike. That is you trying to destroy democracy. Not those that you have spent decades you demonizing and harassing.
As a queer person, I don't. You supporting a party that opposes my rights and is actively demonizing my existence. From grooming rhetoric to outright calls for the abolition for my way of life Listening to conservative politicians is frightening, scary and isolating. I'm sure you don't think of yourself as a bigot, but every donation, vote or right wing politician you promote, you embolden those who ask seek to block my basic rights. And very often, those people succeed. Your priority for "your own self interest" at the expense of my existence does not make you a nice person.
Kind people aren't selfish. Your actions harm me and many others like me, but you only think of yourself.
He bought $2,200 worth of Trump Bucks and other items over the past year only to discover they were worthless when he tried to cash them in at his local bank
“Now I’m questioning whether he is aware of this,” Amann said of Trump.
Well, that explains a lot. Shrooms are great, everyone should do it once in their life. But they should only do it somewhere safe, calm and ideally with a sober "trip sitter".
Part of me wants to feel sorry for the guy, but it was beyond reckless and stupid for him to be tripping in a cockpit, let alone on a plane at all. Especially for his first time! His dealer isn't culpable for the pilots actions, but obviously didn't prepare him on what to expect. Everything would've been fine if he had just gone to his basement with a bunch of stuffed animals and some chill music.
Edit: After reading some comments, if he took shrooms two days earlier than it's not the cause. Maximum your trip lasts like 12 hours. Sleep deprivation seems more likely to me
That's easy to say, not so simple to do. Especially when friends and family ask why you are moving far from them ans your job. To speak nothing of the costs for Interstate moving.
Well, A) You already said this is based on people you know....
I have so many friends who would 100% be labeled as an incel if they were men
And B) If not that, then what are they based on? What other people say? Because you need to consider those biases when you take those opinions as your own. Label yourself however you like, but the thoughts in your post was that of an incel. Blame it on others if you wish, but you were the one who posted it. You are the one repeating it. You are the one saying and thinking these things.
You didn't respond to anything I was saying, just labeled it as wrong. Feels more like a defense mechanism than actual engagement. You are the one who brought these ideas here today. You're right that I don't know you, but what metric am I supposed to understand your ideas other than engage with the things you choose to write/say?
calling out this inequality will 100% get any man labeled as an incel. We’re expected to either deal with it or be alone forever.
There is a reason you keep hearing this phrase, this entire line of thinking is incely as heck. Having standards is not an incel trait, but being angry at women and thinking you are "forever alone" because of those standards sure as heck is! You are making a giant stra-woman just so you can be angry at it. People can have whatever standards they like and their "hypocrisy" is not your concern, but being upset at those standards is just wishing women would settle for less.
For example, women living with parents while expecting men to have their own place, women who are obese but are only interested in fit men, working part time while expecting a man who has a career, refusing to drive and expecting men to chauffeur them around, expecting men to have a variety of friends and interests while doing nothing but watching TV all day, etc.
Acknowledging the right to bodily autonomy doesn't automatically make you a feminist. Thinking women want to be chauffeured around, waited on, contribute nothing and be obese is boiler plate misogyny. This post sounds like it was wrote in the 50's, back in the good 'ole days before women wanted too much!
I keep seeing the "personal responsibility" phrase in this thread and I feel like it's missing the point. I suppose the thinking is "some people ruin it for everyone", but frankly where is the corporate responsibilities? As another poster put it, why is a quadruple monster sold at a place famous for their soup? That amount of stimulus is intense for people without health conditions. Would the general public truly be losing out if Panera had this labeled as several energy drinks flavored lemonade?
The larger issue is that caffeine should be regulated to a higher degree than it is, but Panera received tons of backlash a year ago when this was debuted and ignored it. Chains this size have their meals painstakingly tested and formulated, it was reckless to treat this as just another fountain drink.
was advertised as a “plant-based and clean” beverage that contained as much caffeine as the restaurant’s dark roast coffee, according to photos of both the menu and beverage dispensers in the store
But at 390 milligrams, the large Charged Lemonade has more caffeine than any size of Panera’s dark roast coffee, the complaint says — numbers that the nutrition facts on Panera’s website confirm. It also has guarana extract, another stimulant, as well as the equivalent of nearly 30 teaspoons of sugar
The marketing was factually wrong and very misleading.
