Yup. With the vermiculite insulation in my attic and the moisture from that vent, I practically have an ideal mold farm up there right now. I need to fix that vent before it gets too much worse.
Weird. Must just be one of those regional things. All of the ones I've ever encountered that I know of went out the roof. Good to know going out the side is normal somewhere though.
Now that you mention it I have a dryer vent that's exactly like that. If something like that works for warm moist air from a dryer then I don't see why it wouldn't work for warm moist air from a bathroom.
I actually really like the unified remote app. It lets you use your phone as a remote for any computer on the same network. I think the premium version just lets you link more computers otherwise the free version is just as good.
Nope. Youtube ads are served from the same domains as the videos so there is nothing you can to to block them via DNS. Your best bet is just installing Ublock for them. Now a days an ad blocker is a security necessity anyways.
Because clearly they fucked something up. He was still getting oxygen somehow. I'm guessing they didn't have the nitrogen flow high enough so he was still getting some oxygen.
It could have also just been agonal gasping which can last over an hour even after the person is already dead. It's fairly common for people to see that and say the person is still breathing even though that person has already been dead for a while. It also happens with heart attacks and it frequently leads to ems having to explain to family members why there is no hope of resuscitation even though to them it looks like the person is still "breathing".
And after a couple minutes at most you will reflexively take a breath or pass out and start breathing. In an inert atmosphere that first breath will knock you out almost immediately. After that you won't feel anything. After the individual is unconsious you just need to keep them in an inert gas for a few more minutes for them to actually die.
He held his breath for 22min? No they fucked up the procedure. Even if he had held his breath at first he should have been unconsious the first time he took one. I've nearly been knocked out by nitrogen hypoxia before. It takes one lungfull of non oxygenated air to make you start to black out. He must have still been getting some oxygen somehow. It sounds like they were trying to use a mask (which is a dumb way to do it) so they probably didn't use a high enough flow rate for the nitrogen and he was breathing in air from around the mask. They probably would have been better off forgetting about the mask entirely and just blowing nitrogen at his face at a much higher flow rate (that's what almost did it for me).
Oh definitely. Right now it isn't economically viable to produce methane in a renewable way when we can just get it from the ground. It's like how wood is renewable even though clearcutting old growth forests is unsustainable. We can produce methane; it is a renewable resource. We just aren't using it in a renewable way.
Natural gas isn't propane, it's methane (with some other trace stuff). Also methane can be made fairly easily by various biological processes so it is renewable. It's still not good for the environment but it is renewable.
His first wife is kinda cute in a dorky way even in that unflattering picture. His second wife looks like a blow up doll.
Although your captions do still make sense considering, back when I was still buying stuff off amazon, the amazon basics stuff was surprisingly good quality compared to most of the other garbage on there.
Your original comment that I was replying to asked why a midwife could give vaccines when that was a job for nurses and pediatricians. I was pointing out that midwifes are nurses. I wasn't responding to the article. As far as administering a vaccine, which is what I assumed your second comment was talking about, any nurse can do that. Even a pharmacy intern can administer vaccines.
The fact that this person is a quack has nothing to do with what a midwife is or weather they can administer vaccines.
I don't see why not. Like I said, they're still a nurse. Being a midwife is additional training on top of that. At most hospitals when they aren't midwifing then they are still just doing other nurse stuff elsewhere. My mom is literally a midwife but she also frequently works shifts in various other departments. It doesn't take anything special to administer vaccines. Any nurse can give someone a shot.
A midwife is by definition a nurse. The full title is certified nurse midwife (CNM). Midwifery is extra training beyond normal nursing duties but they still have all standard nurse training as well.
The gist of it is that it's the act not the person. Not feeling sexual attraction basically just means that thwre is noone I find "hot". There are still people I like for platonic reasons and I can still appreciate asthetic beauty but I never look at a person and find them sexually apealing. That doesn't mean they're unapealing it's just that I lack that specific feeling. It's like describing the taste of light; it just doesn't make sense to me.
Even if there is noone I find sexually attractive the act of sex still appeals to me just because it is fun and feels good. When it comes to potential sexual partners platonic attraction is typically what I base that on. It just a fun activity between friends like playing a board game or watching a movie. You can still constantly desire sex without feeling sexual attraction, thus horny.
