  • I use DDG, tho' it's with a VPN. And it seems to work just fine. shrug

  • Look at those teeth! They mis-spelled biting!

  • Funny that, I'm both equally and simultaneously less surprised.

  • "hiting", lol.

  • Umm, doesn't one have to backup anything one wants to save/ have access to in the future? Aren't upgrades a thing will all software? I'm not sure how this is different for Signal versus any other messaging app. Or any app / client that produces documents, etc?

  • Same. I've been supporting it for some years now, but I'm upping the ante. I have many friends, family, and business associates I've been able to get on Signal. It's a super useful app, and a crucial privacy service. Let's do what we can to keep it going.

  • No, not for even a nano-second. Been hoping and expecting this to come out.

a type of behaviour where someone is extremely confident about their own actions but does not understand that their behaviour is unacceptable to others:
She's got a brass neck to ask for a day off when we're so busy.

  • I completely sympathize. And have a similar "it ain't much, but it's honest work" approach to lay articles posted in science related magazines/ communities, of posting a link to the peer reviewed research article when it's not cited or included in the lay article. Please carry on, you are making the world a better place.

  • The Real MVP! TY! I'd give you worthless fake internet points if we were still on Reddit.

  • "... President Trump acted at all times in good faith..." - I'm pretty certain that the GOP in general, and #45 in particular never act in good faith.

  • Politicians make themselves relevant when they act to represent their constituents. Constituents give feedback to their representatives by 1. voting in elections, and 2. contacting their representatives to express their needs and preferences. The recent election, and the doubling down by the Ohio GOP is the exact opposite of making themselves relevant. Ohioans overwhelmingly supported Issue 1. Democrats have similarly taken over the Virginia house and senate, which will limit the Virginia Gov Youngkin's ability to accomplish his agenda. He could change his agenda to better fit what voting Virginians actively demonstrated they preferred, thus making himself relevant to his constituents. So let me ask you a question, do you think the GOP will change course? Or will they move further out of the center and into the right-wing extremity they have adopted?

  • You really need this to get the effect: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=CVZHk0nt5j4

The full effect requires at least 100+ little kids merrily singing this nonsense song at the top of their lungs.
