There are literally billions of vegetarians in the world who don't have health issues.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm specifically looking for a text guide that outlines the tech progression - doesn't have to be in-depth, just a rough "first get this kind of thing, then this one".

These kinds of games tend to be a bit opaque for me, having such a guide would allow me to read up on things when I can't progress myself. Do you happen to know one?

Is this the real life?

Yeah, quite the surprise. They really fucked up with the previous-to-last update and left the game broken way longer than acceptable, but it's nice that they're improving things a bit now.

Is there a good overview of the progression somewhere? I vaguely remember buying it a while ago, but couldn't really get into it.

When the second issue happens, does the reload button & address bar also no longer work? Then I have the same issue, it's pretty annoying. It can be fixed by pulling the tab out into a separate window & merging it back into the previous one, but still very annoying.

I've unfortunately had the same happen on LibreWolf.

If the critter is close enough, their whiskers can pick up on vibrations in the air AFAIK, so they could probably still hunt.

That's wishful thinking. How would anyone know that the government decided to pull someones feeding tube & use their organs? You think they can't control the doctors & coroners? You think just because they don't have a piece of paper saying "I consent" they can't fake such a piece of paper?

I'm against people deciding to pull the feeding tubes of others to get more organs. At the same time, it's a ridiculous belief to think they won't just do that because you don't consent. If they decide to go that far, your consent doesn't matter in the least.

Spam isn't a binary issue, where it either exists or doesn't. It could very well be the case that, without requiring a phone number, there'd be far more spam (since it'd be far easier to automatically create new accounts).

Again, do you have a better suggestion for spam & abuse prevention?

And still, aside from that - it doesn't really make sense to expect Signal to offer SMS integration just because it requires a phone number for spam prevention, when offering this integration would be detrimental towards the mission of Signal (offering secure messages).

And who is going to enforce it? Why can't they just fake it?

Do you have a better approach to prevent spam in mind? Without a barrier of entry it becomes a serious issue.

If they're gonna go that far, do you really think your consent matters at all?
