  • The sample size was 1229 people for this "survey". With something as polarizing as this subject is, I HIGHLY doubt that 1200 people accurately reflect the attitude of the ENTIRE country. but think what you want, free country and all.

  • Currently no, where I live is not particularly dangerous. That doesn't stop the fact that I've been held up at gunpoint here by a meth head that was quite a bit larger than I am. And I moved here from a large city, well known for it's gang violence. People that are so afraid of guns have never been involved in any kind of dangerous situation, and put far to much faith and trust in the Police and Government. There is nothing wrong with being prepared for the worst. Most here that are saying the guy shouldn't have been afraid because it was a prank are looking at it through hindsight.

  • they were compensated when the company using the book, purchased the book. you can't tell me what to do with the words written in the book once I've purchased it. nor do you own the ideas or things I come up with as a result of your words in your book. of course this argument only holds up if they purchased the book. if it was "stolen" then they are entitled to the $24.95 their book costs.

  • The best way, IMO to combat bullshit on social media is to make people submit their personal information (ie govt ID etc) to have an account. I don't support or condone that, but it would cut down on trolling and other shit dramatically. He's not wrong that charging would stymie bot accounts, but it won't stop them, and will piss off your user base in the process.
