I had a new oven delivered today. I made a pizza pie to celebrate. The new oven doesn't work.... fan and lights work but no heat.

Had to knock on my neighbour's door and use his. I have him a slice as payment.

Anyway, for now I don't have this problem.

Well it does have the double benefit of hopefully making them feel better. Either way it's worth a shot.

I did this with my old best friend. I eventually apologised because the guilt was invading my dreams. It let me at least explain to him why I had to cut off all ties. We met one out two times since then but sadly the reasons that made me cut off contact have not been resolved.

Yeah, absolutely, that's what I meant. I am pretty sure that will be earthed. Go work up a charge and give it a try.

Equally, if you have a metal oven or any metal electrical equipment that is earthed that will work too.

Do you have anything else that might be earthed? A metal tap will probably work, so long as it is attached to a metal pipe.

A metal radiator might ground you.

I was on there for a similar amount of time and was permanently banned for badmouthing the British royal family. Well, suggesting that the problem if British royalty could be solved with bricks, which are cheaper than guillotines.

The most annoying thing was that they treated that as some sort of actionable threat of violence.
