  • Was being nice to Biden the best strategy do you think? Is being nice to Trump the best strategy?

  • Sorry, but you are suggesting that the best strategy possible to stop the genocide is to be nice to the person committing the genocide. Can you explain to me how that helps stop the genocide because I'm clearly to dense to grasp it.

Maybe you could point to some recent examples where genocides were stopped by being really nice to the perpetrators.

  • Whilst you are bending over to be polite to people, they are responsible for a genocide. But yes, go you for your brave stance with being civil.

  • I've already run into this today and been accused of alienating "Palestine supporters" for suggesting that Joe Biden deserves a bomb dropped on his head.

    Fucking civility perverts...

  • They actually do. They can refuse to fly there. Israel's victims, those people have no choice.

Edit: I want to back my stance up here with an example of what I did about 3 years ago. I used to work for a small NGO and when I accidentally saw some budgeting spreadsheets and saw how much of our funding went to our board members Vs actually buying drugs and paying surveyors and community drug distributors, I quit in disgust. I took a huge pay cut from that. Like 50% of my salary just gone.

So yeah, I think for genocide I would do the same

  • I suppose you could hold your palm out to block their view of you. If enough people did this to someone wearing these things they might get the hint and stop wearing them

  • Does Mark Zuckerberg have a single fan on the whole planet? Most billionaires have some, but fuck me, Mark is such a dweeb.

  • It's on wechat, so sadly no, and I've no idea how to find it either

  • That one comment about china "being obsessed with how much we eat" as if the Chinese don't have plentiful access to mountains of cheap, high quality, delicious food. It's a real crying wojak cope response.

Americans should be obsessed with how much Chinese people exercise

  • I've seen one with trump, Elon and Vance operating the machines. Very good

  • Absolutely bodied. I wonder if this will spark any self reflection...

  • It would have been just as bad. They were already mass exterminating, the difference is you ghouls don't care when your guy is the one giving the orders

At least this way we get to watch the stain that is the American empire crumble to the ground. In the long run this may even result in Palestinian liberation, once Israel's enablers abandon them

  • JavaScript doesn't suck and it's performance is more than adequate for most applications. If you are doing some serious number crunching you might want to look at web assembly, but last time I checked it doesn't actually have access to the DOM so it's not really got any control over the page itself.

JavaScript is great. Typescript is better. Give JavaScript a go and if you want more safety try typescript.

I personally use the Vue framework for my web apps but there are many others out there, and if you really want to keep things clean you can opt out of using Frameworks altogether.

Anyway, you are never going to be able to completely avoid JavaScript no matter what approach you take, so if suggest learning some and making up your own mind

  • Easily. I imagine that most spacecraft are already traveling faster than the speed of stick. It's likely only a few thousand meters per second

  • Because the stick isn't infinitely rigid. If you push it at one end the other end doesn't immediately start moving. The time it takes, I think, is equal to the speed of sound inside that material. Ultimately the forces that bind atoms together and allow them to interact are limited by the speed of light.

  • Could you recommend a good app for playing these posted audiobooks?
