Very true. Like I would love it if something worked as solidly as X but Wayland has had like 15 years to get it's shit together and it's still not there. There are plenty of people for who it does work too but 2 out of the 3 computers I use regularly have issues with Wayland.

Most EU countries aren't following the copyright directive actually. Only Germany, Hungary, Malta and Netherlands are.

Well since it's an open source project then just have only people from safe countries publish the changes and code contribution is somewhere private. Don't include the names of anyone in the US for sure. That's the idea I'm alluding to.

Ah yes a quora post that reads like a conspiracy theory with sources that point to other quora posts. This is why debunking qanon, flat earth and other such conspiracies is such a chore, no one ever has like one credible thing to point to, it's a spiderweb of events that usually don't properly connect but they all have massive documents that try to connect them anyways.
