Been put on a serious dose of steroids to help my skin condition. Been looking at how they work. Ooaahh, I might look like Terminator soon!!!

Been watching the Alien movies. In the second one Aliens, the aliens were hatching from pods, and it was all gooey and slimy as they opened. Had to laugh, they looked like a nice batch of home-made Natto.

Had to have some Natto on my breakfast toast this morning!!

Interesting to see your comment about a coffee seemingly stopping your pm headaches.

Mrs Floofah sometimes suffers from Hypnic headaches at night. Always has a coffee shot in a glass ready to hand and it stops the headache very quickly. Her headaches seem to come in phases, 2 weeks every night, then nothing for 2 weeks.

Glad you’ve got no blood pressure issues. I do have BP issues, so am aware how sodium can, and does, raise it for some people.

Do you suffer from a salt induced high blood pressure, or is it simply the taste?

The disposal of waste, especially plastic, is a real issue. I heard recently that up here in Northland, land-fill is still the most used method.

Apparently there are 2 NZ companies using waste plastic to produce road surfaces. Apparently Downer have a contract to lay roads using Plas Mix in New Plymouth for the next 10 years.

I guess it’s new technology atm so the pollution impacts are to be determined.

Morena everyone. Off to recycling later, got lots of bottles (hic) both plastic and glass to get rid of.

A few years back, I remember a NZ business set up to turn waste plastic into a road topping. Not seen anything about that recently, I wonder if it’s still operating? Might make a search.

Just looked and both the links I initially posted had a corrupt character in them. Quite how that could happen I don’t know, maybe it was the Memmy app. I reloaded the links and they should now be working.

Just looked, and yes the images are out atm for me as well.

We had the same, contacting 2 others on the drive to get their agreement. Luckily had it done back in 2019 when the initial big push to get it all installed was happening.

Just watched - A I Artificial Intelligence movie. Had never seen it before, but given the current AI everywhere thing, thought it worth a look. For a 2001 movie, a lot of concepts and ideas are now very relevant these days.

Take the little man out, buy him an ice cream, bring him back - job done. Then start playing…

Have used weed mat at ours. Weeds will still grow in it, but they are easy to pull out as the roots can’t establish a firm grip. Depending where you are and the climate, you may need to spray to keep weeds down. Not ideal I know, but the recent warmer, and very wet winters, have made the drive and paths at our place a nightmare to control.
