Exactly... I'm excited to see Deadpool, but I don't think I've seen any other MCU movie since... Deadpool 2. Deadpool has a broader appeal partly because it pokes fun of the genre and the MCU.
I honestly believe that Biden only won in 2020 because of how badly Trump fumbled covid. Biden just was never able to energize the base like you're saying. Covid did the work of energizing people for him. Even in 2022 it wasn't that the dems were well liked or Biden helped down the ticket, it was that Trump endorsed the worst possible candidates.
Statistically, I don't think she would have a very good chance after being VP. Typically, the parties change after a two term presidency. In my lifetime, I've only seen Bush Sr and Biden win after being VP and both were one term presidents.
And Trump had a few fantastic rebuttals that were handed to him on a silver platter. The "you beat it to death" and the "I'm don't know what he said at the end, and I don't think he does either." Those were the moments you knew that Biden had lost it.
Time zones was such a bullshit excuse. He had been back for two weeks at that point. It was just one of the obvious lies they were trying to gaslight us with.
It became sustained because he sustained it. If Biden wanted to show his mental acuity, he should have done some unscripted town halls. Instead, he fumbled a series of softball interviews. He knew he couldn't do a town hall.
I would agree with that. Commercial pilots are forced to retire at 65, why not politicians and judges?
