It's almost certainly programmed to find damage that doesn't exist and price gouge you for it, but they haven't found that sweet spot yet, where you can get people to pay more without putting up a fight.
I think they know all these lessons. The Democrats, like the Republicans, face a choice every eletion: the 1% or the 99%, and they choose the 1% every single time. It's why they let the Parliamentarian, or Manchin, or Sinema stand between a federal mandated living wage, or why so-called tax cuts and more war money sail through Congress.
The question isn't whether Democrats will learn or not, because we know they are in the pocket of the rich.
The question is whether Mamdani will follow his mandate and actually do what he says, and I'm not sure I trust a Democrat to do that. I hope I'm wrong. This feels like 'Hope and Change' all over again, and we all remember how that turned out.
At least here in the US, every election, 99% of voters choose Democrat or Republican and just ignore the last 40 years of these politicians chipping away at our economic and social liberty, and the people who do that have to convince themselves somehow that they made a good choice.
Most justify it by gaslighting themselves into believing their guy isn't as bad as the other guy, but it just never crosses their minds that APAB because they don't want to think they're the bastards for empowering these people.
These people need to be Nuremberged in the worst way.
