No I think even if they did that I wouldnt trust it. The protocol is 100% controlled by a profit seeking company. That means it will 100% turn into a platform that tries to monitize its users for all theyre worth. Public benefit corporation is a meme and has no actual restrictions.
After PIC looks nicer but before picture looks more useful and practical. If theyre just going to replace the road with grass like that I'd rather they didnt. Put a bike path and a ton more seating.
I think the technical imperfections are not the real reason people are against it. In my opinion it just can't be trusted to have a corp in control. It would be like having Microsoft own the activity pub repo.
Today i was looking through the top popular shorts in a private tab. It was so depressing there were countless AI slop videos getting 300m views.
People just dont care. Its why I love Lemmy, here the people care about the tech they use and content they consume. People here have standards. But most people arent like that and eventually everyone will be designed for them and there won't be anything for us and there will be less and less people like us. I love technology and I hate what's happening to tech so much.
Regime change is supporting a group inside the country to take power from the entrenched group. There is no reason that it would inherently fail. The current regime is young and deeply unpopular. All throughout history it occurs and succeeds.
When you have a pariah state like Iran, having a change of regime can give them a path back into the world community. The people in Iran are old enough to remember a time before the current regime and the liberty they enjoyed.
The situation is already proxy wars. If regime change leads to proxy wars nothing has changed. If it leads to an end to proxy wars then its good.
Ive seen people in Iran saying the opposite. Probably the reason ive heard it is because its amplified by pro western media but still.
These irainian people are saying that they're optimistic about the future and they are confident that Iranians will be able to adapt to the changing circumstances and the freedom from of the current government.
It doesnt seem like people are rallying to the side of the already unpopular Iranian government.
I dont like ray traced lighting, it doesnt feel right and isnt worth the performance cost. I do like raytracing for sound. Scenes look better when they're handcrafted.
Upscaling sucks. It looks so bad. But the tech is really cool and it allows people to run games at higher fps (only if they have a card with a ton of ai cores).

I would. I absolutely would, the natural language search of ai feels amazing for finding the answer to a question you have.
The current problem is that its not accurate and not correct at a high enough percentage. As soon as that reaches a certain point we're cooked and AI becomes undeniable.
