  • Slightly thicker wrists. Skinny wrists ruin the aesthetics of my arms.

  • Can you compare an economic system to a political regime?

  • Real humans writing full sentences. Some platforms most of the comments are emojis or reaction gifs.

  • Why not stay with Nobara KDE? Its nice to have gaming configured out of the box.

  • $1million is that all it costs to buy the president of the united states. Jeez

  • Yeah even the biggest us global order defender libs have given up on the us.

  • "What can we do to improve society, I know I'll watch some dystopian SciFi for ideas" - the UK government probably

  • I thought the average was 7 days for a residential IP and when I searched it up it seemed like the average was 3 days. However I took note of my ip and its still the same as it was 6 days ago. Im now interested to see how long these ips are being leased out for.

If it is longer than a week then I am fully wrong and spamming out your ip is a huge privacy risk.

  • Commenting online is fighting the good fight. Online sentiment is shifted by commenting online and online sentiment plays a huge role in influencing the acceptable opinions.

  • My friend was unable to update to windows 11 due to the TPM requirements and looking to switch to linux. I upgraded my CPU and said they should buy my old one. They finally said OK and asked if I could help them install it before they switched to Linux. I installed the CPU and they never switched to Linux because now they have a CPU that meets the TPM requirements.

Windows users really hate change. Microsoft will force them to update and the users will whine but 1 week later they will be used to it then they will stick on windows 11 till EoL.

  • If you dont play AAA games the steamdeck will be fine for most things. The touchpads are so useful.

  • Still to this day this is one of my favorite books. I was given it as a kid because I had a pet rabbit. Bigwig is badass.

  • I enjoyed the video but it felt like this was a great hit on a feeling many have and chance present them with legitimate solutions and actually convert people away from an unhealthy relationship with tech.

  • That rabbit is massive. What kind of steroid protocol have they got him on

  • The rest of the paragraph quoted is "They are esteemd Valuable friends in that way and it is said, tho I never saw an instance of it, that they Converse with Men as familiar as weomen do—this however I do not aver as a fact as I never found any who did not detest the thought"

So it seems to me there were known femboys in the village and there were people having sex with them but majority of men were still homophobic and looked down of it.

Thats a pretty charitable interpretation of James Morrison's journal paragraph. I can't find a free copy of davids book so I'm not sure if he cites from something else in that chapter.

  • Thats sad. They're cooked for no reason either. The US buying those jeans is a win win for both countries. Hopefully they can find other markets quickly.

  • Its a cancer that is spreading across the world. My dad thinks covid isn't real but also ivermectin is a wonder drug that the government tried to hide for some reason.

  • Real men pick a fictional character and base their entire personality of it.

  • Yes there is no such thing as a war that is just. This also applies to rules of war because one side will break them if they need to survive and I can't blame them for doing so.

The cost of war in my opinion is to high for us to be making a framework of when its OK to go war. Also its unfair since major powers abuse the framework to justify their war then turn around and label another war unjust. Its just not how war should be treated. If you want to go to war just do it. There are enough alliances and countries who look unfavourably on warmongers that I think just war is pointless.

My comment might be rambly became its 5am and I'm on my phone in bed.
