  • Ah I see, thanks for clarifying.

  • I'm not really a fan of including gay and lesbian Alongside Asexual, doesn't really feel right considering how different they are.

So I'll just list them out here

Don't feel too bad, I get that this Poll was meant to be broad, the answers just don't exactly apply to me the way its laid out.

  • I've never heard anyone say six in Japanese sounds like lock, in the Judo class (yes I was in a Judo class, not very long though) I was in back in school they said Roku like the Roku TV boxes that used to once be popular.

  • I think you're either overselling their defensive capabilities (like mods there do) or the solutions you used are just leaky and awful. I've found Tor to work very well, less complicated than the solutions you presented since it's basically an all in one. I had an account on there for almost a year only through Tor so it works well, but I lost the password and since I used a throwaway email account is gone for good, but still not shadowbanned.

I have 4 other accounts (I'm not going to say which ones they are, makes the job of admins harder) still been going for over two months.

  • You can usually appeal shadow-bans and they overturn them I've found, you have to send an appeal showing both that you know but also pretend you don't know why otherwise they'll think they owned you.

  • Before anyone tries to argue that they can't be a bigot because they're NonBinary, just keep in mind that transmedicalists are openly and directly transphobic despite being transgender themselves. Just because this person is NonBinary that doesn't make them not a hate-filled bigot, they still indeed are one, and in a way it's actually worse because they'll just say people are being transphobic or enbyphobic towards them when people try to call them out, which ends up being harmful because they're calling things that aren't transphobic transphobic. That reflects negatively on trans people and takes away from the ability to call out actual transphobia.

  • They're a troll, trying to make a disagreement with someone out as being transphobic and also trying to paint this whole instance as transphobic because they got banned for their rudeness and hostility.

  • They're talking out of their ass because they're trying to put down blahaj.zone due to being salty about being justifiably banned for their toxic behavior of trying to force politics onto others.

  • Not willing to discuss politics with you or otherwise is not spreading propaganda that harms trans people. Go to hexbear if you want to do this reactionary hyper political discussion, people here want none of it, and honestly I don't blame them, it's really cringey to go around saying people are transphobic because they won't debate politics with you or otherwise.

  • Clearly they didn't, it would seem reading comprehension is not their strong suit.

  • Good, I'm glad you found a place you like, please go there and leave us, we don't want you to force your views onto others who aren't willing to discuss it, hexbear users do that which is why they've been defederated time and time again (and probably will continue to be in the future).

Also FYI you shouldn't base "trans inclusivity" on whether or not people are willing to argue with you, trans inclusivity is based on supporting trans people and their rights to be respected and exist as human beings, to have equal rights as the rest of us, not for them to be able to step on others and force ideas onto others when they're not willing to discuss them. For the record not wanting to discuss politics isn't transphobic.

  • Pro tip, use Tor and a different Email and you can create a new account without ban evasion detection kicking in. Make sure you copy the link for email verification and open it in Tor not in the normal browser.

  • I can't tell if you're being genuine or sarcastic.

  • Jerboa will likely add it once Lemmy itself supports it, since it is being developed by one of the Lemmy Devs. They are already working on it though in the backend and have pushed commits related to it. If you want to see progress on it, there's an issue on their github.

  • I saw on !memes@lemmy.ml (viewed on lemmy.ml not federated because this instance is defederated from Hexbear) someone made a meme and Hexbear users were spamming the PPB emojis and embedded pictures in threads. Seemed very toxic, I don't blame anyone for defederating them for that, they only do it outside of their instance, never to themselves so it feels like they're attacking everyone.

  • At the time it was still federated with our site, not anymore though, lemmy.blahaj.zone is now their first entry on the block list.

  • On Lemmy itself it hasn't been implemented, though there is an issue related to it on their github. There are clients that do it but it's client-side only at the moment.

  • That's one big problem with political discussions, everyone having them thinks their own views are the correct ones. Then there's the problem of politics in international communities, did you know that what's right and left can be entirely different in different countries and different cultures?

It's why I avoid political discourse and I try not to refer to myself or others as right or left.

  • Edit: hexbear is currently down so I can’t, I’ll remove the post as soon as hexbear comes back online

I just looked and Hexbear seems to be back up but they now have a blocked list and lemmy.blahaj.zone is on it. Seems they defederated from us.

Edit 2: hexbear is still not coming back up so I’ll report the post on this account and ask the mods to delete it, sorry for any discomfort I caused you

    All is forgiven 😉

  • Few weeks ago maybe, I'm not sure, I didn't think much of it at the time but I remembered about it when this happened.
