I have one of those from when I was young but it doesn't stand up anymore, I think younger me took the metal weight out of it for some reason.

Just clean it off afterwards, they don't have chips in them like today's smart cables, just clean them off and dry them off and they'll work just fine afterwards.

Interestingly I have seen christians on the Fediverse, but most of the ones I've found tend to prefer the microblogging zones like mastodon and firefish, likely because it feels more like twitter to them.

You know the leader/authority figure/parent in the movie/story who treats the people listening to them horribly then gaslights them saying they're an amazing leader/authority figure/parent because they do something or don't do something? That's what christian god is like, the one who treats you like crap then gaslights you into thinking their a good person or even a great person, when they're the one in the wrong and causing all the harm.

I'm not sure why people think reptiles are slimy, they're not, their skin feels more leathery or like smooth plastic or vinyl. Hardly what I would call slimy. Amphibians are slimy, which makes sense since amphibians have permeable skin but reptiles have impermeable skin (it's actually more impermeable than ours) so it stands to reason that to would not feel wet or slimy at all, and they pretty much don't.

I would disagree though that pythons feel smooth, they do still have that rough reptilian feel, they don't don't feel gross though, at least I don't think so. If you have Herpetophobia you might disagree with my take.

Me too, both because I'm AroAce and because I look very child-like for my age (okay that's an understatement, people ask me where my parents are when I go to the store) I don't think I need to elaborate why someone finding that attractive is at the very least a little bit disturbing.

Reminds me of the one we had in our group back in high school, he seemed okay, until a trans friend joined our group and he would consistently misgender her and also suggested she play as an orc because he thought she looked like one (WTF?), he quickly stopped being part of our group after that, we just straight up wanted nothing to do with him.

Why would they be doing it unwillingly, giving someone hormones who doesn't want to or is unwilling to take them is grossly unethical and violates their bodily autonomy and their dignity. If they aren't willing it shouldn't be done at all.

For people who will say that they're "in-denial" I just want to say that self-determination is very important especially when it comes to something like gender transition and trying to take that away from them is disrespectful to them and even psychologically harmful.

I should put stickers on my Coreboot converted Chromebook, would make it look more presentable and cover up the scratches and chips in the plastic, though I worry that the stickers will get worn or peel and look bad after a while. Also I'm not sure what I should put on it for stickers, my first ideas would be Tux, Debian logo, coreboot logo, and maybe an AroAce flag, that's only four stickers though.
