  • Also scams. They know you, your name, your contacts, dob, where you work, where you spend leisure time, your face, your house layout, and from your message details probably your darkest secrets and ssn.

Chinese online and over the phone scams have been surging massively in the past few years.

  • Facebook spent years in court just to get hit with the largest fine in the history of fines, 5,000,000,000.00 USD. They also payed another 725,000,000.00 in lawsuits.

All for selling to a British market research company that they had no idea was a Russian shell.

Idk how much you think they made off the deal, but probably nowhere close to as much as they lost.

  • Mozilla Corp's Gecko Engine has allowed several non-corporate flavored browsers into existence, such as various forks on their github or Waterfox.

Then if you dont mind slow speeds you can try Tor Browser.

  • If you're using VLC to play downloaded MKV and AVIs then injected threats are far from uncommon.

If a person already has a source for content they trust then go with torrents but if they don't then it isn't safer at all.

  • My only problem with this is that YT Shorts aren't a shitty TikTok clone because TikTok was the worst possible version of Vines.

TikTok was malice incarnate. It was made to be a weapon.

  • Its sad to talk about but

And I completely own all the fault here. I've always either had poor quality content and a half decent schedule or half decent content with a really bad schedule, and long periods with no uploads.

  • I ran a YT channel for a decade and it never gained traction, but I always imagined if we had merch then it would be something people would actually want to wear and not just yet another shirt.

Tooled leather vest, hat, belt, stylish vambrace with a little card pocket, etc.

The kind of fingerless gloves you get at hot topic except these aren't made in taiwan so they survive more than a week of regular wear and an occasional wash cycle.

T-Shirt with some actual content like a crab monster from a videogame we streamed weekly back in the day dressed up as mr. crabs and the hunter slashing it with the speech bubble "are you feeling it now?!"

  • As long is it's not autogenerated then thats fine. The correct statement would be

"What Arch user actually like:" --> "What Arch users are actually like:"

or even "What Arch users actually look like:"

By leaving it as "what they like" you could be implying that they like these things, as in they enjoy them.

"Like" has both a verb definition and an adjective. And also a noun, but I've never once seen it used that way lol.
