It's based on the joke that "pride month" has the word "demon" in it (priDE MONth). It stared as a right wing meme to say gay month is bad, but the design was cool so it kinda backfired.

Yea but I'd like to think most people who are educated in 1 field to know to "stay in their lane" so to speak, and trust the experts in other fields.

Studying engineering made me hate pure math more than I should lol, I really wish I learned linear algebra in a practical sense. Like really when will I ever be working in infinite dimensions?
