As a player I'm constantly trying to derail the game and take the story in an unforseen direction. As someone that's looking for surprises and not trying to stay on the rails, I totally appreciate and applaud the idea of using mechanics I'm not familiar with. If I were that barbarian, I'd be very excited to have died like that.

The biggest thing we need is more locals in Florida though. I don't think they'll invade. I think they're stalling until they can get their microchip tech up to speed and then they'll turn Taiwan into the next Cuba and just embargo the fuck out of Taiwan. Invading would be incredibly stupid.

John Cena makes a ton of money from China and so does the WWE. Not to mention the toys are made in China. Vince and Cena weren't about to lose that manufacturing deal over some dumb shit.

Calling the Chinese mainland West Taiwan is like calling the northern US "The North Confederate States of America." They lost a civil war and saying that is just silly. As for One China, that's a current battle of internal politics. The current ruling democratic party supports cutting ties with China and joining the West. The nationalist party agrees that the mainland and China are one country. It's not like it's just China imposing it's military might on Taiwan, it's much more complicated than that.

Probably because the flag looks like a toddler made it and it's not intimidating at all even though the implications behind it are very serious.

China failed that invasion because they barely had a Navy. Ukraine might be flat land, but it's also swamp land that vehicles have a hard time crossing. Russia's military is also in shambles due to decades of corruption in their military technology development. China's tanks don't just fall apart and stop working like Russia's does. China also has an incredibly advanced air force.

All that being said, this is all built on internal politics within Taiwan. The democratic party in Taiwan wants to join the West and the US is glad to send military equipment if it means another proxy war to profit off of. The KMT party wants to stick with China and China is happy to continue supporting them until they can get the mainland development of microchips in order. Everything else is political fluff and military posturing. China is buying time until they can call Taiwan's bluff because Taiwan cannot survive without China. China could turn Taiwan into the next Cuba and never need to invade in the first place.

I started using that back in middle school, too, but I never gave up.
