  • Oh then all you need to do here is confirm with the GF's parents that she did in fact get permission. Then just enforce that they sleep in separate rooms like I suggested in my other comment. The you're good to go!

Edit: why downvotes? This is the best path for OP because:

    1. He confirms that the gf's parents gave permission, thus protecting himself from liability.
    2. He asks them to sleep in separate rooms. If they don't listen then at least he can say he tried to prevent stuff from happening, which proves OP wasn't encouraging anything from happening. If it happens then fine, and OP is cool with it.
    3. He treats his son like a young adult and gives him freedom to have his gf stay over. If his son sneaks into the gf's room at night then that is his son's decision. OP didn't endorse it.

It's a win-win for everyone. Why ya'll downvoting this? Fucking mindboggling..

  • I mean honestly, if they wanna have sex then they're just gonna do it somewhere else. I honestly don't see the point of trying to prevent it.

What you can do as a compromise is make them sleep in separate rooms. So it's still a "sleep-over" but you're not directly encouraging it. I think this is probably the best option. If one of them sneaks into the other's room for "fun time" then that's on them and at least you did your part. Idk your relationship with your son but just make sure you give him the talk about using protection. No one wants a teenage pregnancy.

I would also recommend calling the GF's parents to confirm that they're okay with the sleepover, because it's possible that they're lying and didn't actually get permission. So I'd definitely confirm that.

  • I'm not a gatekeeper. I'm just your average person who is tired of every single community turning into a cesspool of US politics and bullshit. Why can't you just keep this crap confined to the political communities? Control yourself God damnit. Take a deep breath and go for a walk or something. When is the last time you saw sunlight?

  • My guess is it's coincidence and that the powerbank company has just paid for a lot of ad space recently for similar topics. See if you can confidently reproduce it a few times. If so, I'll change my opinion.

I'm only saying this because I have never once had this happen. However my mobile browser clears history every time on close. Does yours? I personally disabled "Android System Intelligence" as that's responsible for a lot of app personalization on Android phones.

Could also be that you have some sorta BS toggle turned on on your Android phone where it personalizes ads. You may want to check.
