I have heard so much about Ayn Rand that I decided to see what all the buzz was about and listened to Atlas Shrugged during my commute. That shit was the most insufferable, unrealistic, out-of-touch BS I've ever "read." She really thought a lot of herself. It was a horrible exercise in self-flagellation.
"if you're not with us, you're against us" in this society. It's insane. There is no room for independent thought, views, or opinions. No contrasting points of view, no critical thinking, no wavering on the established position of your side. Align your beliefs with ours or you will be admonished and labeled and cast aside as a terrible person.
What!!???? Are you really equating any mention of the word "white" with race? And further, calling people racist for being confused at the absolutely pointless change to a commonly used term that has been used for decades?
Holy shit we deserve the impending apocalypse/civil war/breakdown of society. We've earned it.
Yep, that's what well-adjusted, mature adults do nowadays.
And before everyone chimes in joking, "well that doesn't apply to any of us lol!" It's doing shit like this that makes you well adjusted and mature, not the other way around.
I know this ain't no self-help advice column and we all just want a quick laugh, but it's nice to come across some helpful life advice once in a while.
I don't even know who Jim Parsons is, so perhaps he'll be a little less affected by that, but Seinfeld is a poor example because the character (and show) is literally named after the actor. Though I'll concede your point stands for George and Kramer.
I support Israel. It's time for the Palestinians to move out, forced or not. It'll suck for them to relocate and resettle, but at least we might finally have peace in the middle east. Better than more war.
I'm sorry to say, we've moved on from self-destructive memes. OVER THE TOP ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT IS ALL THE RAGE NOW, YOU GOT THIS!
